Location allowed for good options each day as it was less than 2 hours from Hilo, and only an hour away from Hilo . House is great and host is super responsive. "We have rented properties around the world and this is a new favorite. It’s out of town, but not so far that you can’t easily get to local attractions. Very clean well appointed kitchen and home. The private beach area and pool were fantastic. Very responsive hosts and we highly recommend this home. "

"Very nice condo right on the ocean. Older but bigger units because of it. Well equipped units, clean, great pool an bbq area, sandy beach area. Very attentive and friendly staff!"

"We enjoyed the property and the amenities….pool was nice, hot tub was good, and actually hot unlike many places, usually the front desk was very helpful, and other guests were even great…I was disappointed I paid for but did not really get an ocean view unless the wind blew and I stood on my tiptoes….thats not really an ocean view"

"The property location and spectacular views from the condo were exceptional. The condo was very clean and found it exactly like the photos. Well appointed kitchen. Living area including bedroom area and adjacent bathroom were beautifully decorated. Could not open the sliding glass door on the lanai to let in breeze. We were not given the correct address for the condo in our paperwork supplied to us. Had difficulty locating condo as address given was the Knutson office. Very quiet unit...

"This was my first time at this Property. Super close to the Main Area to walk to for all kinds of things. The surprise was the sandy beach next door."

"We stayed for 8 nights and the property was beautiful. The condo had a great floorplan with the primary bedroom open to the ocean and a second bedroom/bathroom conveniently off the kitchen. The kitchen was very well equipped with appliances and spices, even some lovely unopened leftovers in the fridge when we arrived. Instructions from Mike prior to our visit were very helpful, and he was very responsive when we contacted him about a minor issue. The property is gorgeous, right on the ocean, and...

The apartment itself has everything you could want for your stay and communication with the management company was seamless and their responses were prompt to any questions we had. also, the location was great since you could have access to the roads that go north, south or east relatively easily to get around the island."

"Isaac's rental units are easy going with a family atmosphere to it. The house is in a living neighborhood so you don't have the feeling of being among tourists - you get to experience a local green neighborhood full of cool plants and rich with birds. It's also conveniently placed to just walk to some of the best Kona Coast beaches within few minutes. Isaac is a great and super friendly communicator and clearly keep his house and the plants in great shape. We will be coming back!"

"Definitely will stay again. Love the spacious room. The full kitchen and the in-unit washer & dryer are awesome must-haves. Also, can't beat the free and easy parking (yay, no valet!). Front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and made great dining recommendations. Would love to see the property upgrade its flatscreen TVs to Smart TVs so I can stream movies and shows via apps like Netflix, Prime, etc. I made due with my iPad. Would love to see the gym/fitness center updated and upgraded. In fact, the last day I was there, they were in the process of remodeling the gym. I hope to return to have a chance to see the updates and work out! The concierge team can be a little pushy at times with tours and what I think was probably a Wyndham/Shell timeshare vacation membership. I didn't attend so I can't confirm that's what it was but it certainly sounded like a sit-down sales event. It wasn't mandatory, and I know they're just trying to do their jobs like everyone else, so I can overlook it. Hey, everyone's trying to get their bag so, no harm no foul. I didn't want to do any fancy tours or adventures, either. I was looking to do really chill, relaxing things, and just hang like a local. Overall, I had a great time at this place. I didn't want to leave. I had a very relaxing and carefree experience. Mahalo! P.S. - There are several cute and adorable outdoor cats (possibly wild?) on the property as well as geckos. Be on the lookout so you can try to take photos of them! "

A Great Lower-cost Choice

"Clean and very comfortable. Really good breakfast. Very courteous and understanding staff. Two blocks from old town. Two negatives: Limited parking (but, still, $10/night nevertheless). (Very) slow elevator."
