"If you are just staying for a short time and don't plan on spending time in the room, it offers the best value. The rooms are very tiny, like apartments in Hongkong, but has everything. It's like visiting a concept room in IKEA. The location cannot be beat. Close to shopping, restaurants, the rivers, and night clubs. Great place for car and people watching. :)"

"Great location near to Stadion Letzigrund where we watched one of the Euro 2025 football matches. After flight delays / rerouting, plus the arrival day being my birthday, we arrived after a long journey to be greeted by a very friendly reception chap, who gave us a free drink in the bar and breakfast voucher. Most welcome - thank you. Room was clean and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The air conditioning was great as it was very hot weather. "

"First and foremost the Staff was very attentive to our needs whether we needed extra pillows, extra blankets, any info or recommendation on sight seeing or restaurants to eat at the staff was great. It was my wife and two 21 year old daughters staying at the Novatel for 5 nights for holiday from the States. . Rooms very clean. Hotel located in a good location. Not very touristy (which we like) but walkable to train station (about 20 minutes). Lots of restaurants to choose from on the walk toward train station. Grocery store across the street 2minute walk. "We knew in advance that the hotel was under heavy renovation/construction, but this did not detract much from the stay. The worse (?) was that the panorama of the Eiger N wall from the balcony was somewhat marred by a construction crane (see photo) - not a big deal. We found room to park at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. The room is nicely furnished. One small fault: not enough power outlets around and just one USB outlet. And confusing light switches that operate on a delay and take time to master. The price is high, but so are most prices in Grindelwald"
