"There are major problems with this listing The wellness facilities were all unavailable during our stay. It was not made clear that we would be charged for electricity and water. The amount we had to pay was iunbeluevalbly high, adding half as much as the hotel fee on top, plus linen charge. We could not use the jacuzzi, as it was filthy,; we did not use the sauna; we turned down all the radiators as we bought logs for the fire. So, it is difficult to see how the energy bill for our actual use...

"We only had one night in Ribe with our two teenage children, so wanted accommodations with plenty of space. Storkesøen was perfect! We had a large a-frame cabin with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. it was so nice to hit the grocery store and be able to come back and make dinner and breakfast. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. We did have to pay additional per person rate for linens (bath towel and sheets) but traveling from overseas it required. "Bin soweit zufrieden mit allem gewesen.. schöne Lage.. sehr ruhig.."

"Everything has been great from the moment we checked in. Admittedly it was during a rare Danish heatwave but the staff are super, handy shop on site. The pool is great with the slides. On site cafe has a limited menu by good for us. Accommodation is just what we needed, well equipped kitchen, excellent free WiFi. Site is quiet and the coastline is amazing onto the Fjord. "

"Aus Gewohnheit haben wir viel Küchenzubehör eingepackt, um über Sylvester vernünftig Kochen zu können. Das war alles nicht erforderlich, da insbesondere die Küchenausstattung deutlich vollständiger ist, als man vom Inserat her ahnt. Auch Gewürze, Backpapier, etc sind reichlich vorhanden. Es lohnt sich also, mit leichtestem Gepäck anzureisen.Im Winter ist das Haus recht warm, die Fussbodenheizung/Wärmepumpe macht das Haus schön gleichmäßig warm, der Kamin schafft es den Hauptraum komplett...

"The whole experience was wonderful, from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and temperature we were able to regulate well. Pool was an added bonus and it was very quiet so felt like you could do a proper swimming session. Breakfast was delightful, catering for all needs. Great buffet style. Service was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Full of local knowledge too. The deli was a great idea, especially if you just want to grab a snack and drink to retire to your room. The time of year we went (February) it was so quiet, we felt like we were the only people there. Would definitely use The Lodge again when visiting Billund. "
