"Good location for 8 min trailer to the trailhead to snowmobile. Big open living space. Ice builds up on the front step from dripping eves. Some available salt would be nice. I took my hammer to bust off 79% of the build up. The snow power needs to know to keep the driveway entrance wide, as it is not easy to back a Tandem axle trailer in when it’s only wide enough for a car"

"Enjoyed a family stay at Boyd Pond cottage. Sauna was great and enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. Fire pit out front with wood provided - roasting marshmallows was fun. King size bed and others beds were very comfortable. Drinking water was provided. Some weeds in the pond but much less when swimming further out. Hot tub was not working. "Trout Lake has been an annual summer trip for us for the last 7 years and this house is our favorite rental by far. The cottage is cozy, but well appointed. We love the extensive waterfront in this beautiful cove and spend most of our time on the pontoon, in kayaks, hanging out on the dock or in the game room, and playing in the beautifully clear water.
