"The kitchen was amazing and was so nice to host my family a few nights and have the cooking space!! There was a list of things to do upon entering which was great (I’m a local but moved long time ago) The only downside was the beds. They are very hard and I had to lay on pillows for some sort of relief. It was very disappointing as we drove there and we’re out on adventures everyday and would have preferred to sleep in better comfort. "

"It is definitely one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at, but for the cost, I would expect better. Food was meh and both food and drinks were expensive, we couldn’t figure out the thermostat and it was really cold. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. When you stay only one night, that doesn’t even give someone a full 24 hours. I know these are minor inconveniences, so overall it was a nice place to stay. Amenities were good, and it’s free to park. That is always a bonus. "

"Check-in was extremely quick and efficient. Wi-Fi in the rooms at one end of the hotel did not work. The breakfast, although the good could’ve used a bit of variety over the days. A second waffle maker would be amazing when it’s busy. Being repeat customers over the years it seems the hotel has gotten tired and can use a bit of a sprucing up. Most of the staff are very friendly and try very hard and do a great job. "

"Facilities have been updated and cannot beat location. Restaurant on site is very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Time to update TV’s which are about the size of a large computer monitor. "

"Conveniently located just across the street from the slopes and a very short drive into town, the room was convenient, clean and well appointed. The bed and linens were high quality, very nice and comfortable. Communication was simple and easy and the owner responded to my inquiries in a timely fashion. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend. Thanks!"

"It’s like being in a house and you can hear others when they are being loud especially on 2nd floor, near common area, but fun if you like to be social with other guests. We had a nice stay. Building is a bit older so has its rustic feel and signs of age in certain areas. Overall, based on location, convenience and price we would stay again. "

"We were thrilled to stay in a lovely, elegant, comfortable mansion while we visited nearby Little Valley for the Village of Knives event. The house was a delight - from its spacious rooms, to the comfy period-style furniture, to all the conveniences we might have wished. We were in and out with no trouble, and were especially delighted with the very comfortable beds!"

"We only stayed for a brief 24-hour period, so it’s difficult to give a very thorough review. That being said, the unit was clean and updated, and the owner was very responsive to communications. Aside from the unit, the parking area was incredibly icy and the signage for ski-in/ski-out was not very good. No fault of the owner, but just an observation. Beautiful 6 bedroom Ellicottville Chalet

Annual Family Ski trip.

"Ellicotville Chalet was the perfect place for our family trip. The house was spacious and easily accommodated our party of 14. The location was perfect, only a very short drive to Holiday Valley Resort. The only reason I marked a 4 for cleanliness was because we had to wash the pans, cups and silverware before we used them because they had food on them or were dirty. The same with the stove. The floors were a little messy and the fireplace had ashes and the ash bucket was filled to the rim. Other than those few things, it is a great place. We will definitely book again if we return to Holiday Valley. Book with confidence. "
