"Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. Also no outside garbage unit so we had to keep the tied up garbage bags in the house and they started to smell. Amazing seasonal decor, personalized care package on the table and amenities that do not disappoint. "I rented this classic Adirondack home so my mother could spend time under one roof with her six grandchildren. The interior is classic Adirondack style and fit all of us comfortably. The location is great - a couple minute drive into the quaint town of Inlet and 15 minutes from Old Forge where we went to Water Safari. While visiting we had buck and baby black bear sightings. I’d highly recommend this home for a stay up in the Adirondacks. "

I do wish there was more communication regarding the parking spot (but that was a lack of time on my part) and the check out procedures. Overall a very good stay."

"Spent a long weekend here with my wife and dog, this place is 5-star across the board. I lost track of the number of times I’ve been here, just keep coming back, such a beautiful property. House is always clean, has everything you need. Quick Tip: Millers Meat Market in Lowville is a short drive. The food truck out in front has smoked ribs, brisket, and some other items ready for take out (open at select times so give a call before going),…you won’t be sorry paying the place a visit."

Charming quiet B& B , A true hidden Gem

"Alan & Ann were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are personable & very accommodating. The house is absolutely charming, quaint & quiet. Ann keeps the decor of the house fitting to the era it was built. It's like being back in time. So much history, many books and so much to look at throughout the house. Delicious breakfast served with unique dishes & a small homemade baked treat in the room upon arrival. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different. A true 'hidden gem"."

I was skeptical but turned out great!

"We stayed at the seperate building on the side. This made my kiddos feel better that it was more hotel style rooms with a door to a hallway that was locked from the outside unless you had a key card. The other main part was more motel style even though they had hallways there was no stopping people from going up to your door even if they didnt have a key. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The soaps that were in the showers were full sized and smelled good. The cleaning service was amazing. Always around for anything you needed. We were in for a hockey tournament and the kids wanted to play knee hockey and the cleaning service let them and loved that they wanted to play rather than be on video games! Checking in and out was a breeze. The other family we were with tried to get an early check in and i know the front desk gave him hassle with that and would not release the room until 3:01 even tho the cleaning people said the room was done so that was a little weird. We stayed from a thursday to a sunday. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back! "
