"First day dinner was great, on the second day not. We were waiting around 80 minutes our dinner to start, quality was not good at all vs the first day. The rest is ok. "

"Excellent, bright, shiny, very well priced newish hotel. Very close to main historical square- about 200 metres lower , mostly on escalators, through an array of historical tunnels which would be a high priced attraction anywhere else in Italy. If coming by train, catch the excellent and novel Mini Metro from the end of platform one. Get off at Pincetto and head right and mostly downhill. The hotel is about 200 m away from the stop. Use your phone."

"We love this hotel and will keep returning. The grounds are extensive and lovely; the hotel itself is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with spacious communal areas. The rooms are also excellent and the food at breakfast and dinner is delicious. However, the highlight for us is always the wonderful staff who go out of their way to be charming, helpful and friendly. "A quiet option to stay in Assisi, the room was clean with a spacious bathroom, the view from the room is amazing. The continental breakfast is good. The hotel is located some metres away from San Francisco’s cathedral. The WiFi signal was poor in the room. "

The room was quite hot and the aircon didn’t cool it down well, and I don’t think it had been thoroughly cleaned - there were empty shampoo & body wash containers on top of the shower head from the previous guest, and there were a few hairs on the toilet seat. The bed was comfy though. "
