"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."

"On peut dire que l’appartement correspond parfaitement aux photos, les lits sont confortables. Les draps couettes sont nickel. La propreté est ici quelque chose qui n’a pas été pris à la légère Mme a fait preuve de flexibilité concernant mon arrivée et a été très avenante et sympathique. Si vous êtes dans les parages n’allez nulle part ailleurs, le rapport Est excellent"

"Overall, we were very satisfied with the property! The location was very quiet, beautiful views. The house and pool were foreseen with all necessities and was clean. Due to a storm, there was no WIFI connection available, which we didn't know about up front, it would have been good to have been updated on this as some people in the group had some work/studying to do. We would however definitely recommend this house if you want to have a nice holiday by the pool."

"The apartment was very comfortable. All bedrooms had blackout shutters, which was very nice. Lovely balcony with a pretty view of the towns rooftops and the water in the distance. We had a car so we didn’t use the bus system too much but there is a stop literally right outside the building that will take you all over the city. "What a perfect holiday destination! We loved the whole ambience of Chateau de la Loue. We were warmly welcomed by Pierre to a beautiful and generously equipped home and we all felt comfortably at home. There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for family fun and games. We weren’t presented with a list of do’s and dont’s. The canoes, the dragon, the wetsuits and shoes were used every day in the river, and the bikes were all used – great for a party to cycle for bread from Ornans each...

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villers-Le-Lac. The location is great for outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and trout fishing in the summer months. Our hosts were very welcoming and speak a little English. We plan to return during our next visit in France."

"2 nuits passer au " gîte sous le tilleul" a landresse , très beau paysage, coin isolé et au calme, super lieux a voir et en plus l'hôte nous a envoyé vers ces frères qui tiennent un ferme de vache laitière et ça a été une superbe expérience, ils ont été très gentil et on expliquer plein de choses c'était très ludique pour les enfants et très éducatif pour les adultes."

Tout est prévu pour passer un excellent séjour, beaucoup de place même pour 16 personnes, situé dans un endroit calme, et très bien équipé. "At the heart of the old town. The hotel would provide you with the city pass (free) with access to all museums and local transpositions (buses and trains) in the same surroundings. Do not miss to go to La Chaucer-de-Fonda for the international Time museum. A must see. Highly recommend the place. "

Clean basic comfortable overnight stopover.

"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. Very safe large car park.. Convenient for access from Motorway.. fast foid restaurants and supermarket bearby."
