"Loved the breakfast, really great options, above and beyond. Staff courteous and helpful without being overly warm and welcoming. The hot tub/spa is 25 euros per person for 2 hours, honestly this is way too expensive and not clear on hotel listing. The room was spacious with a good view and amenities, loved the little coffee machine.The area itself is very lively with lots to see and do within an easy walk of the hotel."

BUT we did not know that we would be in a slightly below ground floor unit, with windows that could, in practice, only be opened a few inches at the top. AND THERE WERE NO SCREENS. Flying insects could and did fly in. In addition, the couch was worn. The bathroom, while very nice, lacked storage and surface area. The bed had only a foam mattress--no inner spring. "TERRIBLE Experience. You have to reserve for everything and they charge you EXTRA! You have to reserve to eat at their restaurant, you have to reserve to seat at the pool and you have to pay extra for using the pool. I have never seen this before. No iron in the rool and problems with the security box. At the end we decided to leave the hotel at the middle of our stay. "

"We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Centrale whists completing the Tour du Mont Blanc in July 2013. It was a very traditional Italian hotel in an excellent location. The staff were most accommodating and welcoming and always very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic room looking right onto the piazza with a balcony. We really enjoyed our stay here and would like to thank the management for such a lovely and well run hotel. We did not eat at the hotel as plenty of cafes for breakfast."
