"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, even if they had some technical issues with the lifts during my stay. The service was good and I was offered help with my luggage when the left didn't work. The roof terrace had nice view, just hard to spend time up there if its a windy day. The breakfast was good, but there are lot of nice places nearby you might find more enjoyable and with better coffee. The location was good, close to the metro, restaurants and shops and only a walk away from the sights. Not next to a night club either. The room was good for my short stay, but you might want to explore the options as mine had a view to the street only."

"The Elia is a modern hotel in an excellent location. Lots of dining and shopping options surround the hotel and it's a relatively short walk (1/2 mile?) to the Acropolis and Agora archeological sites. The rooftop restaurant has clear amazing views of the Acropolis, and the food was excellent. Only complaint was the "club" type music the restaurant started playing while we ate (too loud, too high energy). The breakfast is also excellent with many many hot and cold options. Our room was very modern, excellent shower, and offered a view of the Acropolis. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful, for example arranging taxis for us both upon arrival at the cruise pier and departure (yesterday!). A great place to stay in Athens."
