"It was a lovely experience staying at Engiri. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our room was simple but spacious with a terrace to sit on. The food catered for us as vegetarian and was all freshly prepared and delicious. The outdoor seating in the restaurant was a nice place to dine. The staff is so friendly and attentive. It was great to see the occasional elephant on site. The lodge arranged our boat safari on Kazinga Channel which was a fantastic experience and so economical. Other activities like game drives are available at very reasonable prices. The Marketing Manager at Engiri deserves special mention for arranging private transport for us to reach the Lodge and for onward travel. Highly recommended."

"There was an incident of theft unfortunately conducted by the staff. After the manager was informed, he took proactive measures to correct the mistakes and restore our lost money. The lodge offered two free meals to compensate, and the staff was fired. Unfortunately, we also had another incident where two bats flew into our room and mosquitos nets, tried calling the reception desk via what’s app but nobody replied for two hours, then the power was out, the internet was cut. We couldn’t go out to the lobby to ask for help due to wild animals active at night, while having a fever in the middle of the night. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. "
