"In general our stay in the Gran Hotel Birmingham could’ve been better. The overall experience was nice, hotel still in good condition, but the service wasn’t not as good as excepted. Tiny blood shades on bed sheet, as well as hair. The fire alarm went off as a test but no one noticed us. Someone tried to open my room door in the morning while I was talking on the phone, later knocked twice while I was in the bathroom. Guests’ privacy need to be respected, thanks a lot. "

"A lovely friendly hotel, the staff were very good and helpful. There was a dining room issue on a Saturday evening where the number of guests overwhelmed the kitchen resulting in food item shortages and a lengthy wait for the food but it arrived at all times very hot and the breakfast was especially good. We would certainly return and thoroughly recommend this hotel "

"Really enjoyed my stay here as i came on the train the accommodation was excellent. Not sure i would stay here if i was driving as i prefer parking on site. However when i do come to Brum i usually come on the train from Wales will definitely stay again. "
