"We had a fantastic stay at Zest at Xi beach. We stayed in a studio which was perfectly adequate in size foralways a couple. The studio was immaculately clean and smelt lovely and fresh. "The villa was dirty when we arrived - food smears in the fridge, used razor blades in bathroom and dirty toilets. There was no cleaning things not even a dustpan. We informed the owner and he sent someone over to clean toilets 2 days after we arrived and cleaned the house 4 days later ... but it was still dusty. The villa was poorly equipped - not even salt and pepper or a bottle of water. View is amazing and local beach is only 5 minutes walk away. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel. 20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest a car to explore other beaches. Alternatively “Hop On” boat hire just by the hotel is run by a nice couple so you can explore the coast and go to beaches than cars are unable to. Would recommend this hotel to friends & family. "
