"Words cannot describe the experience, but I will do my best. The view of the Walls of Index from the cottage were straight out of a fairy tale. The service and community of Index was top notch and I may have had the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had from the barista at Bush House Inn. 10/10, can’t wait to do it again. "

Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains

Amazing Location, Cozy Cabin

"We absolutely love coming to this cabin. The views are simply stunning! The sound of the river is so peaceful and relaxing and has an added bonus of drowning out any snoring sounds! The bed is so comfortable that I checked the brand to see if I could get one like it.There are very pleasant hikes nearby which we also enjoyed. Even just walking down the road provides a beautiful view.The Cabin has many extras that make for a very enjoyable stay: extra blankets, games, spices, shampoo and conditioner, etc. After our third stay, we feel more like we are coming to a relative’s house for a visit than renting a VRBO. Thank you, David!"

Anniversary weekend

"The house was beautiful, it everything we needed (well almost we couldn't find scissors). Oh WOW all the decorations, the two days we were there we saw new stuff. The hot tub was just what we needed after our long truck there. Down stairs bedroom bed was comfy. We were able to make the hike down to the water. It was a little pokey (all the vines and ferns oh and low branches, hahah) but it was a fun and worth while hike. Thank you "

Amazing mountain getaway

"Stayed here for 3 amazing nights. The views are spectacular, and the sounds of the river make this the perfect getaway. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a day of hiking the numerous trails nearby. Cell signal wasn’t great inside the cabin, but I could get an ok signal from the porch. But the lack of cell service was fine because there was a great selection of VHS and DVDs to keep entertained. I would definitely book this property again."

"We stayed for our 6th year wedding anniversary. Quaint and cozy space, it was a delight to just unwind Highly recommend leaving the windows open as the constant roar of the river is so calming. Great cooking space, as it was open and made the place feel more spacious. Hot tub is grand."

"The home is in a beautiful location with the sound of the river, made it relaxing and tranquil Are group fished five days straight for the elusive steelhead with fly rods and hand tied flies a lot of preparation for these elusive majestic creatures returning from the sea. The home was warm and welcoming with breakfast and lunch preparations for the day and only returning every evening for a home-cooked meal sitting at the table, enjoying company. We slept well through the night with the sound of the river and thoughts of mighty Steelhead.soon to hopefully meet.. Great time with good friends and meeting new people on the river every day., makes this place special.."

Dreamy Location

"Beautiful home and such a dreamy location. You can’t beat the sounds of the river and nature right in the back yard. We really appreciated the accommodations! The hot tub, fire pit, stocked kitchen, comfy beds and also the really good hot water were just the drop in the hat. Great trails nearby as well. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back! "
