TL:DR Would book with the Sodes again.
Pros:
Quiet residential neighborhood with pretty slow traffic and clear directions from the owners.
Contactless check-in thanks to the electronic lock system, very convenient for the arrival and no need to worry about keeping extra keys during our stay.
All amenities to make the stay a home away from home no matter the duration of your trip, including toaster, some kind of air-fryer, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, and a full-size fridge, stove, and stacked washer and dryer too. Oh, and a smart TV!
A couple cons:
The neighborhood is still in construction, which is mostly out of the host's control, though I hope they intend to eventually widen the driveway to allow guests to park off the street. I had to back in a couple inches from the edge of the gravel pad so that I didn't block the owner's car while giving my elderly passenger room to get out onto gravel and not mud.
My only other complaint is more a footnote then something that affected my overall ratings of the booking. There were signs inside the rooms asking everything be cleaned, but when I received the final summary of charges, the "Host fee" was listed as a cleaning fee. Don't get me wrong, the fee is not a substantial amount, far less than what a professional cleaner would charge, it just made me doubt my decision to do a bunch of housekeeping before coming home.
