"Easy access to ferry port was met and shown round the house which was very clean and had everything we needed. Use of garden on the sunny days was good. Showers beds and accommodation was to a very good standard. We were a party of 3 couples with push bikes. Would certainly book again"

The location is served by local shops and a bar/restaurant with a basic menu but the food is superbly cooked and is also fairly inexpensive."

It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. "We were on a day trip to Cherbourg so only stayed for one night but we can highly recommend the hotel for its location and the friendliness of its staff. Our family room had everything we needed, with three beds being provided as requested. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. The bathroom was large and clean. The location is perfect and we received some excellent recommendations of places to eat. Not related to the hotel but Cherbourg itself - we expected there to be more cafes/bars open in the evening for a coffee or ice cream but everywhere appeared to close at around 10pm or earlier. We would however definitely return for a short break to Cherbourg and Hotel d'Angleterre. "
