Great tiny cabin!
It was perfect for our family of 4! We put the kids upstairs and used the bunk area for their luggage. We spent most of our time exploring the area, but really enjoyed the deck space when at the cabin.

Relaxing weekend getaway
Tiny Bearadise is exactly as advertised. We stayed over two nights while visiting our son at Western Carolina, and found it very convenient to Dillsboro, Sylva, and the WCU campus. If you like a more scenic ride, I'd highly recommend driving River Road from Dillsboro to Cullowhee. The accommodations were clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for several meals. We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Unlike a prior reviewer, I had absolutely no problem taking the trash 20 yards to the centrally located trash cans. Sitting on the deck listening to the Tuckaseegee roll by was incredibly relaxing, as was hanging out by the firepit with a small fire. It does sleep 8, but you'd want to be very close friends. The loft area would be great for a child or two at least 8 years old. If you're into outdoor sports, enjoy being away from the crowd, and don't mind a smaller space, then definitely come to Bearadise. If I'd had a kayak with me, I would have dropped it into the water right from the cabin. If you're more of a Hilton Honors traveler, look elsewhere.

Cutest little cabin!
The river right outside the door and the rain on the metal roof made for a super relaxing vacation!

Peaceful and cozy
We absolutely loved the deck overlooking the river! The tiny house made great use of the space. The loft was roomy, and the master bedroom was spacious with lots of storage. Nice quiet location. Oh, and The Fugitive train/bus site was across the rivier.

Great place to relax!!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our week in this cabin. It had plenty of space for us and we loved the deck right on the water. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with bath towels, bed linens and blankets. The kitchen had plenty of plates and cups along with a set of pots, coffee maker, microwave and stove. The only things I would make note of is if you are over 6 feet tall you may have to squat to fit in the shower. This cabin is 1 of 4 along the river and then there is an RV park. The cabins are very close so when the neighbors are up at 6AM enjoying breakfast on their deck you can definitely hear them while trying to sleep in the main bedroom. Luckily we were their by ourselves until the last day. Would definitely rent again!!!

Already planning to stay again!
We had such a great time at Little Bearadise that we are already planning to come again! This location can't be beat, and we LOVED the deck overlooking the Tuckaseegee River. (We rafted the Tuck twice -- passing right in front of this cabin!) Highly recommend for a fun family getaway!

Small cabin - Huge fun
It is just as described- small but doesn’t feel cramped and very well maintained. It’s right on the river just as described and the moment we arrived my boys were in the water. Stunning deck views. You definitely have neighbors as there are lot of rvs and permanent mobile homes. The entire site is immaculately maintained, quiet and neighbors were welcoming. We will stay here again without hesitation.

I loved this little jewel of a home away from home hidden in the Great Smokey Mountains!
We loved our 3 day stay and can't wait to come again. We kayaked, rafted, hiked, played in the water, watched the rain and the river rise, watched the river go down. Enjoyed watching rafters from our deck and the great restaurants in town were great.

We had 7 ladies staying in this tiny house and we all fit perfectly and comfortably. We spent alot of our time on the huge porch right on the water. It was so lovely. The owner was informative and had a very clean residence. We were a very happy and will come back.

Tiny House WOW! And a few travel tips for comfort.
Awesome TINY home (in Dillsboro near Sylva). Discovered this area Fall 2020 and was eager to come back for more hiking, farm-fresh dining and relaxing. We've always been curious about Tiny House living so this was a WIN-WIN! I can't figure out where to share photos but when I do, I will! Loading/unloading was super easy-- a few steps up and in. Layout inside and out thoughtfully done. River views from most living areas. The deck extending out over the rushing river was fantastic! The Fugitive train wreck across the river, excellent eye candy. Plenty of storage in kitchen/bathroom. It's a tiny house so fitting 8 humans inside would be a stretch (especially if it's raining or super cold) but a family of 4-5 would work. Only 2 of us this trip but hope to come back with kids when weather is warmer. Super clean AND well maintained (which you don't always get on a river/cabin). Water pressure and heating, no problem. Everything functional and relatively new (sheets, blankets). Grocery/gas about 10-20 minute drive away. The location is remote but if you're looking for privacy, this is not your place or location. It's a Tiny Home so whatever is happening in the bathroom or kitchen is everyone's business (not a problem for us). As far as neighbors, they're close and you're on the main gravel road entering a small RV campground...so folks (and their big trucks) are going in/out frequently. This was not an issue for us but if you want seclusion and quiet, this isn't your place. All things considered this is a rental (not owner occupied) and is stocked as such. A few items you should bring: cleaning supplies (ooops happen, no cleaning or laundry products on site); foil/plastic wrap or ziplocks (none, no storage containers either); paper towels and plates (no dishwasher); fire starter/matches (none that we found); and we brought our zero-gravity chairs for max deck comfort (metal chairs inside and out with no pads). Minor tweaks and proper packing makes a good place great. Our only "complaint" (that you cannot overcome) is the master bed mattress-- springs in the back, thin and box-like. While you expect this for a secondary sleep area, it was disappointing for the master. I took the living room futon (which was surprisingly quite comfy) and my husband climbed up to the loft (floor mattress). We are small people and it was just 2 of us for 2 days, we made it work. LOVE LOVE LOVE the quaint mountain towns of Dillsboro & Sylva. So welcoming!

Nice place on the river
Very cozy cabin with a large deck on the river - very peaceful and beautiful sites. The cabins are part of a RV campground and across the river is a railroad track with a couple of abandoned railcars but you don't see that so much and the rail track was not busy when we were there. We couldn't figure out how to use the satellite TV but we weren't there for that. The location was a ways away from Asheville but many of the hikes we went on were less than an hour away. Nantahala Gorge is amazing and was also less than an hour west of the cabin. The river rafting, just upstream from the cabin, looked fun but it was too cold when we were there. We did not get our check-in email until after we got there. I could have asked for it sooner and the owner was very nice about it. Great place.
