Elegant hotel very near the beach. Each floor decorated with a different historic travel theme: India/Taj Mahal, cruise ship crossing, train excursion, air travel. Staff excellent; there was a power outage while we were there and they all coped and helped all of us deal with its effects.

We stayed at this hotel last time we were in Dinard a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it so much we returned. The hotel is in a fabulous historic building right by the beach and an easy walk into the town centre. The reception staff were very welcoming and so enthusiastic explaining the interesting history of the building and its past occupants. The room was excellent with loads of room and a beautifully appointed bathroom. Everything was clean and sparkling. Parking is in a separate building just a few steps for the main building. Dinard itself is just gorgeous... with a fabulous beach, lots of great little independent shops and restaurants.

Lovely hotel right by the beach. The staff were excellent. Room was a little on the small side. I was disappointed to learn that we should have pre booked their parking garage for our classic car so we had to park her on a side street as they were full. The area is safe though so all was well. We didn’t eat at the hotel but did have a drink in the bar which was very cosy. Loved Dinard as a destination.

The staff at Reception were all excellent, helpful and informative. The Staff in the Restaurant at Breakfast were generally helpful. The Room Stewards were efficient. The Location was superb, close to many good restaurants and to the sandy beach, The Porters were mostly helpful, apart from one incident where a porter dropped one of our bags breaking a glass bottle, spilling the contents and leaving broken glass in our clothing. The one negative was the parking. Your website states free parking is available. This isn't totally true. It should state "Limited free parking may be available" I believe that there is dedicated off-street for about 12 vehicles (although I don't know if there is a charge for this). The capacity of the hotel is 47 rooms and most guests will come by car. Otherwise, free parking may be available on the streets, but we are competing with all other demands and often nothing is available at all. I understand there is a plan to build more rooms on the existing off-street car-park, which can only aggravate the situation.. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to future guests.
