"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus Archaeopteryx. Nur die Anreise mit ÖPNV war eine kleine Abenteuerreise, da die Busse teilweise nur einmal täglich fahren. Das Haus war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer nett und es gab genug Bäder für alle. Unser Highlight war der Pool und der kleine Berg am Haus, von dem aus man den Sonnenuntergang perfekt beobachten könnte. "

The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!) The villa had many wonderful features including balcony with views of Hesselberg...

"We were staying here for the Challenge Roth triathlon. The location was ideal, only a short drive to the various venues. The small village was immaculately clean and well kept and extremely quiet. It was a very peaceful stay. The swimming pool and backyard lounging area was very nice. Access to this apartment was very easy from Munich airport. All the roads and highways around the area are very easy to drive and navigate."

We enjoyed walking out across the road to stroll down by the river. It is very peaceful here. Locally are pretty towns and great history and landscapes. I especially liked Weissenberg. Family friendly equestrian themed hotel

"This hotel is tucked away and very unassuming. My family stayed here for a kids sports event in the area during the early spring season. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly & welcoming. I imagine this would be a great place to stay in the warmer season with all of the activities available: horseback riding, biking, hiking, etc. The kids swam in the pool during our stay and had a fun time.
