The sheepfold Divajeu Castle is a recently restored building located on an area of 25 hectares in a quiet valley with views of the surrounding mountains.
This spacious house has been recently renovated with taste and equipped with every comfort. It has a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of space, terraces and a swimming pool with a beautiful view.
The site can be closed by a gate. After the entrance hall with cloakroom a small staircase leads to a new kitchen with all required equipment. From the kitchen one enters a spacious and comfortable lounge that opens onto the terrace. The living room is furnished with a 3 seater sofa and armchairs, and fireplace. There is also a TV area with a DVD player.
On the ground floor, there is also a spacious bedroom with a queen bed. The en suite bathroom has two sinks, a tub and shower. A staircase leads upstairs to the little "pigeon tower", with still a large double bed. Downstairs you can still find a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
In a separate building with a small terrace and staircase, you will find a large bedroom with two single bed and one queen bed. The granny level there is a bathroom with sink, shower and separate toilet.
The large terrace (where you can relax before the outdoor fireplace) leads to the pool with fountain. Around the pool, relax in the sun loungers available on the lawn. There is enough space to park several cars on the ground.
Divajeu is a charming village in the Drôme valley, near the historic town of Crest. You will find some small shops Divajeu same, within 5 minutes from the house. Crest is 10 minutes drive and you will find many shops, supermarkets and various shops. There is also a very friendly weekly market.
The Drôme valley is a popular destination for nature lovers, those who enjoy the quiet places, history or sports. The house is ideally located for excursions in all directions. In the North, you can discover the magnificent Parc Naturel du Vercors (one of the largest nature reserves in Europe!) - Nearby you can also browse the Drôme Valley by car, on foot, bike or even by canoe. The Ardeche and Mont Ventoux is less than an hour Divajeu.
