La Bergerie du Chateau Divajeu

The sheepfold Divajeu Castle is a recently restored building located on an area of ​​25 hectares in a quiet valley with views of the surrounding mountains.

This spacious house has been recently renovated with taste and equipped with every comfort. It has a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of space, terraces and a swimming pool with a beautiful view.

The site can be closed by a gate. After the entrance hall with cloakroom a small staircase leads to a new kitchen with all required equipment. From the kitchen one enters a spacious and comfortable lounge that opens onto the terrace. The living room is furnished with a 3 seater sofa and armchairs, and fireplace. There is also a TV area with a DVD player.

On the ground floor, there is also a spacious bedroom with a queen bed. The en suite bathroom has two sinks, a tub and shower. A staircase leads upstairs to the little "pigeon tower", with still a large double bed. Downstairs you can still find a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.

In a separate building with a small terrace and staircase, you will find a large bedroom with two single bed and one queen bed. The granny level there is a bathroom with sink, shower and separate toilet.

The large terrace (where you can relax before the outdoor fireplace) leads to the pool with fountain. Around the pool, relax in the sun loungers available on the lawn. There is enough space to park several cars on the ground.

Divajeu is a charming village in the Drôme valley, near the historic town of Crest. You will find some small shops Divajeu same, within 5 minutes from the house. Crest is 10 minutes drive and you will find many shops, supermarkets and various shops. There is also a very friendly weekly market.
The Drôme valley is a popular destination for nature lovers, those who enjoy the quiet places, history or sports. The house is ideally located for excursions in all directions. In the North, you can discover the magnificent Parc Naturel du Vercors (one of the largest nature reserves in Europe!) - Nearby you can also browse the Drôme Valley by car, on foot, bike or even by canoe. The Ardeche and Mont Ventoux is less than an hour Divajeu.

Lovely stay in Divajeu!
Our family was very happy with our stay in Divajeu! The house and property exceeded expectations, which is rare in my experience. Very comfortable, clean, and well appointed house that includes modern design touches and amenities with a country charm. The kitchen has everything needed for home cooking, including a Nespresso machine and real knives! The garden, pool, and view is idyllic. While only minutes to the town of Crest, Soue and other charming villages, the location is very central to the Drome and Vercors region. Tim and Sandra were excellent to deal with and extremely responsive when needed. If you're looking for peace and quiet and easy access to the region, we highly recommend Tim and Sandra's place! Thank you both!

Wonderful All Round!
We stayed for the last week of May and first week of June. Weather was quite cool the first week, but warmer the next. That didn't stop us swimming in the really nice, larger than usual gite pool. The view from the terrace is stunning, with a small meadow beyond the pool in front of the house, and forest rolling up the hills in the distance with the mountains beyond. For nature lovers, it's brilliant, with small meadows literally next to the property, containing at least three Orchid species, and I counted 16 different species of butterfly, and there are plenty of moths, bees, and Praying Mantis too. There are plentiful beautiful villages and towns within an hour's drive to visit, which is mainly what we did. Tim and Sandra were lovely, and them being English, there was no language problems! All three of us thought that it was one of the best fortnight's we've spent in France during our 20 years of doing so. Graeme, Sandra & Lizzie.

Tranquil and relaxing stay
A fabulous villa. With lots of space for everyone to find their sunbathing spot. Plenty of sun beds and seating for our group. The barbecue was fantastic and we ate outside every evening. No flies , maybe we were lucky and only some wasps which were manageable. You do have to drive up quite a long steep road but it is worth it as you are then in a secluded area with beautiful views. Swimming pool is large, swimmable and Julien is on hand to keep it clean. Crest is close by and a lovely little town. Some extra glasses , especially large ones would be helpful In the hot weather. The website also mentions air conditioning but we couldn't really function this and relied on fans. I think it is better to make this clear on the booking site. However, Tim and Sandra were quick to help out whenever we had any queries. It was really a fabulous stay .

splendid, peaceful, comfortable
Our stay here was a wonderful experience for three reasons. Firstly, the site is exceptionally beautiful with absolutely fantastic views and peaceful surroundings (well tended gardens and woods/forest nearby). Secondly, the house is well designed, spacious and tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Thirdly, the owner is very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Charme et caractère, au calme
Très agréable séjour de 2 semaines dans cette ‘bergerie’ transformée en villa moderne tout confort, qui préserve le cachet des pierres et poutres apparentes. L’extérieur est également charmant avec une terrasse donnant sur la piscine, un grand jardin bucolique et une vue dégagée sur les collines des plus dépaysante . Calme absolu donc, sur les hauteurs de Divajeu, qui impose une voiture pour la moindre course, mais à 5/10 minutes des nombreux commerces de Crest. L’emplacement permet de sillonner cette partie de la Dröme qui compte une multitude d’activités de plein air et aussi de très bonnes tables, dans des cadres idylliques parfois. A noter que le propriétaire des lieux et Jim ont été très réactifs à nos demandes et soucieux de notre satisfaction.

Als een God in Frankrijk…
Als er één plek is, waar het bekende gezegde op van toepassing is, is het La Bergerie van Tim en Sandra Percy. Voor de tweede keer waren we er en hebben wederom genoten van de schitterende accomodatie in een betoverende omgeving, waar iedereen die van rust en natuur houdt zijn hart kan ophalen. Tim en Sandra zijn fijne, voorkomende hosts, die het hun gasten aan niets laat ontbreken. Toplocatie!!

Vacances parfaites . Par contre nous avons eu des problèmes ou incompréhension lors de notre réservation car il y avait une ambiguïté sur la réservation effective de notre location avec vos services. Super mooi huis in een prachtige omgeving.
Een zeer nette woning , smaakvol ingericht alsof het je eigen woning is. Zicht en omgeving uitzonderlijk mooi, rustig wat afgelegen maar toch maar op 10 minuten van het centrum van Crest. We zouden het huis aan iedereen aanraden. Dank Sandra en Tim dat we er een geweldige week met onze familie konden doorbrengen.

Gelungene Kombination von Komfort, Geschmack und Natur
Selten schön und wertig renoviertes und eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit sehr großem Pool und einem traumhaften Ausblick in ein stilles Tal. Keinerlei Straßenlärm und keine Nachbarn bis auf die Besitzer, die etwa 100 m weiter im dazugehörigen Chateau leben. Sehr freundliches Willkommen mit Wein, Käse und Oliven und eine unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Sehr schöne Umgebung mit malerischen Ortschaften, Lavendelfeldern, Sonnenblumen und einer beeindruckenden Bergkulisse.

Formidable séjour dans cette magnifique propriété
Un paysage à couper le souffle, un calme absolu dans cette nature reposante inspirant la sérénité. Hôtes charmants. Une "bergerie" très confortable, impeccable, une piscine vraiment magnifique Mention toute particulière pour Julien, le jardinier qui par son travail quotidien et sa disponibilité magnifie les espaces verts et contribue à rendre ce lieu encore plus magique. Propriété parfaitement adaptée aux animaux, chiens et chats qui peuvent trouver des copains au château.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig am Rande eines Wäldchens auf einer Anhöhe mit einem sehr schönen Blick ins Tal und auf die umliegenden Berge. Pool und Garten sind ideal für heiße Tage. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und mit einem guten Gespür eingerichtet - Chapeau! Der Austausch mit den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert.

Een idylle in de Drôme.
Een smaakvol en praktisch vormgegeven woning, compleet met zoutwater-zwembad in een adembenemend mooie omgeving maakte deze vakantie tot een memorabele gebeurtenis. Tim en Sandra Percy zijn attente, vriendelijke hosts, makkelijk benaderbaar zonder opdringerig te zijn. De omgeving heeft veel te bieden voor wie houdt van lange wandelingen, afgewisseld met bezoekjes aan schilderachtige stadjes en sportieve ontspanning. Een plek om nog eens naar terug te keren!
