"The main great room/lobby of this old historic hotel is pretty much worth it all. Spectacular views and a comfy relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was meh. But it is historic so that’s part of the deal. The point is to spend your evenings down in the great room that is equipped with many chairs, sofas and tables for reading, playing cards, having a drink and looking out at the amazing scenery. There is a good restaurant right off the lobby and also a really nice bar where you can have lunch,...

"Good hotel for families, but the pool has strange hours. It doesn’t open until 9am and the waterslides don’t open until 5pm because they have lifeguards on duty. It was disappointing for our kids. We wish the hours were more clear when booking the room. We likely would have chosen a hotel with a regular water slide that you can use all the time. "
