"Domaine du Buc provided just the right rural estate feel. A short drive to vineyards and excellent food options, it was an otherwise quiet oasis. The host Brigitte was very welcoming and helpful about recommendations in the area."

"It is in a property in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful green plains, the place felt like a big home, cozy, the room very comfortable, and very clean; the bathroom has a big beautiful tub and also a rain shower. The breakfast was perfect with fresh orange juice, fresh baguette and soft buttery eggs! I already booked another night. "

"Un cadre charmant pour un moment détente à la campagne. La piscine avec vue sur les vignes est magnifique quand au restaurant c’était un délice. Le personnel est au petit soin. Un super séjour très reposant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la bouteille de vin comme cadeau de bienvenu était fort sympathique. "

"Nous nous attendions à un village de vacances agréable. Nous avons senti la fin de saison. Notre logement était vraiment low-cost, les lattes du lit en bois dur, un lit double avec 2 matelas de différentes hauteurs, des insectes au plafond et au mur. Nous n'avions rien trouvé d'agréable à notre arrivée en ce mois d'octobre. Un baluchon à transporter depuis la réception avec notre literie. Déçu de notre réservation."

Beautiful 17c villa with private pool in SW France

Potentially a great house

"There were three things that let the house down. The first problem was a totally inadequate WiFi. To get a good signal you had to be in the little room where the box was. The WiFi was weak in the bedrooms and very poor in the garden. In this day and age that is not good enough.Secondly the grass in the garden was very overgrown and simply needed cutting. Both of those could be easily fixed and you would have a great house. The rooms are lovely and the Garden really good especially for a town house.The only other down side was that the pool was not heated. We knew that when we booked but it would have made an enormous difference to the holiday had it been heated. We were there in Mid may and it stopped a lot of people using the pool, and is likely to make us look elsewhere next year."

A beautiful gem of a hotel.

"What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. This small but beautiful hotel ranks as one of the best we have visited anywhere in the world. Thank you Emilie. David and Morag "
