He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. "Beautiful hotel with jungle plants all around and next to the river. We watched the sunrise every morning and saw many birds including a kingfisher. The amazing monitor lizards were swimming in the river one day. The staff were so kind and the bicycles were free so we explored locally. A perfect place to stay rather than the noise of the city."

"We stayed at the vila with pool and river view. The place was perfect! We didn’t see the other utilities as we stayed in our garden and privet pool. I believe the villa is worth the money. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Each time we wanted to go to a location, the reception would schedule a tuktuk! We recommend it highly the hotel."

"This small resort was a very relaxing 1 night stay, the place is as per the pictures, beautiful gardens, very pretty and quirky. We were the only guests there. The room was clean, air conditioning worked great, comfortable but hard bed and good shower. They only cook breakfast but we found a local bbq restaurant that was great value for dinner."

"Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested."
