"Everything is close by. I got lucky and found parking right in front of the hotel. But if not, there is a parking lot behind the building. The room felt a little outdated but overall it’s great for a one or two night stay. Nonetheless, it’s close to it all. "

"Lovely welcome from real family business. We didn't eat in the evening but the Tapas looks excellent. Breakfast was as your mother would make it. Room was large and comfortable. It is an old Georgian building so don't expect 4* but do expect a lovely stay in this unique Georgian Town with its quirky history and lovely streets. Will be back again soon."

"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"

"I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. "Loved this hotel! So much charm and class! Lovely breakfast. Interesting pubs connected to the hotel. Right in the heart of everything downtown. Great experience! The room is a bit dated and the bathroom needed an upgrade - the shower curtain clung to us as we showered, but the location and overall charm made up for it. We would stay here again! "
