Amazing Chateau. Loved our suite 203 with roll top bath in the annexe building. Beautiful grounds, excellent service, dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will return again when in the region.

Nicely renovated property with attached equine facilities and some family friendly activities on site. Small but pretty rooms, unfortunately unable to cope with hot summer days (no fan, no a/c) and odd placement of spa (looking at parked cars). Highway close by enough to be both a plus and a bit of a minus. Enjoyable stay with good restaurant but better to have basic French competency to relax with the staff.

Oozes class
This is an amazing hotel, located in a rustic chateau. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite of several rooms which included a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The decor and furnishings were tasteful; The view and grounds were spectacular. Staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant was fabulous, if somewhat expensive. There are extensive spa facilities on-site, as well as equestrian activities. It's not cheap, but well worth the price. The Domaine Chateau du Faucon ranks among the finest, most distinctive hotel stays I have ever had.

Great place to stay with dog
Although the room was very small it was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The grounds were magnificent, dinner was quite good and breakfast was fine.

Relaxed and beautiful chateau
The Chateau du Faucon was really great. The area was very relaxed, with much space to walk. Beautiful grounds. The buildings were kept up very nice, and beds etc. were comfy. We had the 3 course meal for dinner there, and breakfast the following morning. Dinner was amazing. Breakfast I think was a little expensive for what you get, but the food is good, and worth not driving to another town just to get something for the morning. Service was a bit slow at each part of our stay, and although we weren't in any hurry, its still not nice to wait 15-20 minutes to order a drink. Overall the place was great- 10/10 would go back!

Stayed for 1 night and that was too long
The room we were given was nothing like the photos on the website. It looked old and jaded, smelt of dampness and mustiness. My partner had asthma problems when in the room, very rare for him. Flea market furniture, bed was not level, our heads were lower than our feet. Grubby feel to whole room. Cold in the night. One shutter latch was broken, so light came in. No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No Wifi. The toilet was in the corner of the room in small cubicle complimented with brown stains, our knees prevented the door from closing. The shower leaked underneath the floor. We ended up using the shower/toilet facilities in the gym building. Hard sold a meal on book in - did book the meal (without knowing the cheapest wine was 55 euro a bottle), but on seeing the room I decided to cancel. Got a very frosty response on cancelling. Had perfectly nice meal in Sedan (15 mins drive away). Whilst staying there I decided to fill out the check in experience with hotels.com, I was then told off and harangued by the manager (we were left shaken). She was very rude, sarcastic and told me I shouldn't have given feedback to hotels.com. On check on the afore mentioned manager basically argued with us for 15 mins saying she didn't agree with any of our opinions. Customer service was terrible. All in all the worst experience I have had anywhere in the world, nasty room, nasty manager and nasty experience.

Good overnight stop in Donchery
We stayed overnight as part of a journey further south and the room (in the annex rather than the chateau itself) was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space. We opted for room service rather than eating in the restaurant as we arrived relatively. Whilst the selection was limited the food was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. There are lots of on site activities for those staying longer. Overall a good experience in beautiful surroundings.
