We (2 adults and two kids) had a great time at Dongo in Spring 2016 living in this wonderful house. Village and beach are both reached within 15min by foot so we did not need the car to go shopping or swimming. The house itself is very well equipped with everything you need to cook meals. What we liked best was to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view upon the lake and the village. Also, the owners who live nearby are very friendly and were happy to help us whenever we needed help. To sum it up : if you're searching for a quiet and beatiful place near Lake Como, you should definitely have a look at this one.

The information on the site is not complete. It says it is a shared pool, but it is also a shared garden. We didn't have a private sitting area outside. In addition, the parking is 200 meters away and it is not possible to park the car in front of the door to unload things. 1 evening the parking space was full, the host was unreachable so we had no idea where to park. Furthermore, the contact with the host was not good, she was on vacation herself. Which is fine, of course, but arrange someone who is available for our questions. We asked where to take the trash so we took it where she said. Then we get comments that we are not putting the waste in the right place. The house was described as a villa, it felt more like an apartment to us.

Es hätte in der Beschreibung stehen sollen das man das Ferienhaus mit dem Auto nicht erreichen kann und das es doch einige Treppen gibt, größtenteils ohne Handläufe. Das war speziell für mich da ich nicht gut zu Fuß bin nicht lustig. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und Charm. Im Bad müsste mal im Duschbereich was unternommen werden. Wenn man von von bemängelten Sachen absieht war es noch ein Schöner Aufenthalt

Super séjour dans cette maison de charme avec une belle vue sur le lac de Côme. Le séjour passé en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) a commencé par un accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires. Cette maison est parfaitement aménagée et très fonctionnelle avec un jardin et piscine pour profiter de la vue et du calme de Dongo. Location bien placée à proximité du lac de Côme pour découvrir les trésors cachés de la région. Baignade au lac accessible à pieds à 10-15 min. Enfin le balcon avec cette vue magnifique permet de démarrer la journée doucement avec un bon café ! Aucun problème de stationnement pour la voiture avec un parking à une centaine de mètres.

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Küche war alles vorhanden. Die herrliche Aussicht auf den See ist vom Haus und vom Pool einzigartig. Die Schlafzimmer liegen im Untergeschoß, dadurch ist es immer angenehm kühl in der Nacht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Direkt unterhalb des Hauses geht der Wanderweg nach Brenzio hoch. Dongo ist auch ein guter Startpunkt für die Schifffahrtslinie am Comer See.

Nous étions en famille avec nos 3 enfants dont des ados. Nous avons tous aimés notre séjour au lac de Côme. La propriété a une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac. La maison est très bien équipée et elle a beaucoup de charme.

Gut ausgestattete und geschmackvoll rustikal eingerichtete Wohnung in einem alten Steinhaus. Im Haus daneben wohnen die sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Toller Blick über den See. Kleiner aber feiner Pool, der von der Vermieterfamilie mit genutzt wird. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Nichts für Fußkranke, Ältere oder kleine Kinder. Öffentlicher Parkplatz bei einer Kirche 50m entfernt, von dort geht es eine schmale Gasse und Hofeinfahrt steil hoch zum Haus, nicht befahrbar für den normalen Mitteleuropäer der sein Auto liebt. Auch am und im Haus steile Treppen. Gut geeignet für 4 Personen, das 5. Bett steht im Flur. Zum See kann man in ca. 10min gut laufen. Am Haus vorbei geht ein Wanderweg hoch in die Berge. Zum Mountainbiken ist der Standort gut geeignet.

La maison est pleine de charme, ancienne mais rénovée il y a peu, avec des équipements de très grande qualité. L'électro-ménager est très complet, il y a même une machine à expresso comme au café et une turbine à glace. Les pièces sont remplies d'objets anciens et on sent qu'ils ont été choisis dans un grand souci d'harmonie. On est à mille lieues des locations "ikea". La vue du balcon sur le lac est absolument magnifique, mais il est trop petit pour qu'on puisse y prendre ses repas. On peut déjeuner sur la terrasse à l'abri d'un grand parasol, avec le même panorama à proximité de la minuscule piscine ( prof : 1,20m). Attention cependant, il faut monter l'équivalent de deux étages pour l'atteindre. Ce dénivelé est l'invonvénient de la maison, car on ne peut y accéder en voiture. Une fois garé au bas de la ruelle, il faut grimper une pente très raide sur l'équivalent de trois étages. Ce n'est pas un problème pour la plupart des gens mais c'est probablement très difficile pour ceux qui sont peu résistants à l'effort ou simplement obèses. Les familles avec une poussette seront un peu à la peine et un fauteuil roulant est absolument inenvisageable. Heureusement Simona ou son mari (qui habitent la maison voisine et empruntent le même accès) chargent vos valises à bord de leur petit 4x4 (un grand ne passerait pas) et les emmènent jusqu'à la maison. Une grande expérience, si vous êtes sur le siège passager ! Si vous avez un tout-terrain, vous ne pourrez pas le garer chez eux, par manque de place. Ceci dit on passe une semaine magnifique dans cette location, suffisamment bien équipée (babyfoot, playstation) pour affronter, avec des enfants, les jours de pluie quand il y en a.

"Tres belle location avec tres belle vue sur le lac bien equipee. Bonne literie,tres propre et bien decoree. Proprietaires a proximite tres aimables et discrets. Nous avons ete tres biens recus par Simona. La localisation de la maison permet de rayonner facilement autour du lac. La maison est au calme sur les coteaux de Dongo. Nous y avons passe de tres bonnes vacances:-)"

"Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum. Aus dem riesigen Panoramafenster aus dem Wohnzimmer hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf den Comer See. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Es wurde bis ins kleinste Detail und qualitativ hochwertig alles super eingerichtet. Auch die Aussenanlage kann genutzt werden. Im Pool liegen und auf den Comer See schauen > besser geht nicht !! Aus dem Garten können Kräuter und Obst entnpmmen werden. Das Vermieterpaar ist absolut freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Haben immer einen guten Tip für Restaurants oder Besichtigungen. Wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal in dem Haus."
