"Beautiful stay in an amazing location! We came for a wedding that was on in a hotel 5 minutes away so, we didn't get to spend a lot of time there unfortunately! From check in to check out, the staff were incredible, welcomed us and got us an early check in to get ready for the wedding! Check out wasn't until 12 which was fab 😍 shower was amazing, bed was so comfy, breakfast was delicious, overall a great stay and would definitely recommend "

"We so enjoyed our stay at Hillary’s place. She was a very helpful and responsive host with great recommendations on hikes and meals. We hiked the Croagh Patric hill which is the hill in the pictures and walked the nearby beaches. The house was a wonderful stay. Clean and beautiful."

"Just stayed at Ivor‘s house on the shores of Clew Bay and it was brilliant. The photos in the listing don’t really do it justice as the space available to you is huge. All the facilities are spot-on. There were a few goodies for us in the fridge when we arrived and they even put up a Xmas tree as we were there for Xmas. Communication was great. The surrounding area is beautiful. Lots of history and lots of places to go walking, lots of history. Highly recommended.Suits family’s, and those with kids too… Thanks Ivor."

"We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary (which I had mentioned to her previously) Even a chocolate cake! So kind. Since it was off season, only a handful of restaurants were open during the week (mostly open on Friday and Saturday) but there is a small grocery store in town if you want to get something to cook at the house. A bigger grocery store is in nearby Westport which is about a 15 minute drive from Louisburgh. The kitchen has everything you need - pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. The TV near the kitchen is a SmartTV. Towels are proved and there are hair dryers to use. The house is in a nice quiet street with easy walk to restaurants in town, McNamara's Pub and the beach (great sunsets when the sun finally came out!). We were able to just relax and enjoy the downtime. Highly recommend this house."

"This isn’t just a house that’s available for holiday rental, it’s a home and you feel it as soon as you walk in the door. It’s a beautiful home and so lovingly appointed, we don’t want to leave! Our host was so kind, warm and thoughtful, she helped to make our vacation an experience we will always remember !!"

"We had a great stay at The Cliff House. Great big room right across from the beach. The restaurant is good too, breakfast and dinner. Achill Island is stunning, not to be missed. "

"I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. The area is outstanding, quiet and peaceful with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance or a short drive from the house. On our first day, we saw a pod of dolphins that put on a spectacular display for us 🐬 Belmullet is a lovely wee town with exceptional restaurants and cafes, delicious food & staff who couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The local people are really friendly, stopping to pass the time of day and making time for each other, something that is a thing of the past in other places I have visited. Such a special place and very heartwarming. Our host Yvonne was excellent with her communications and if she could help in any way, she would. Checking in was easy and there was a very thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival. Yvonne allowed us to fix some wire to the gate so our dogs would be kept safe. We really appreciated being able to do that 🐾 We were so very lucky with beautiful sunny weather for most of our stay, so we have come home feeling totally refreshed and the five hour drive was well worth it. If I had one recommendation, it would be for the caretakers of this beautiful house to ‘up their game’ by way of cleaning (hence only giving 4* for cleanliness) and presentation. Thank you Yvonne. "
