"The house was well appointed, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom, shower were very nice. Extra cleaning, an eye to the dirty windows, and the outdoor porch furniture needs to be addressed. The inside of the house is pretty, great kitchen with decent appliances and pots, pans, dishes for cooking. Would rent again. Just be aware you will hear noise from the highway when out on the porch."

"Lily Bay Lodge was home for 4 nights in early October for my husband and I and our two small dogs. We wanted someplace special for our anniversary and this location was perfection! Our stay couldn't have been any better! We appreciated the kindness of the owner ... it is obvious they care tremendously about the property. The accommodations were comfortable for us and our pups. Everything was clean and worked well. The fenced in yard for the dogs was great! The beach and the view were amazing......

The reasons for the 2 stars for cleanliness is there were a lot of ants, gnats and flies in the kitchen and dining areas. "The location was perfect for us - away from crowds and right on the lake. The cabin is charming with its stone fireplaces and knotty pine paneling.
