"This place is truly part of the jungle - we saw tons of bird and had monkeys, coatis and even a huge spider inside of the treehouse. We felt one with nature, while still living in a very clean and comfortable space. There were no mosquitos at night which was a pleasant surprise! When we arrived Joel greeted us with a smile and even helped us make a dinner reservation down the road at Encanta La Vida since we didn't bring much food with us. "We loved, loved, loved this place. The room was fantastic and having an open air bathroom was such an unusual treat. We got to see monkeys from our porch as well as many other creatures on the night tour. The food was also fantastic. If we lived closer we would certainly visit again. "

Amazing Stay

"This was one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. The pictures can’t do it justice. Once you venture down the road to the house - the adventure starts! You definitely need a 4x4! The house blends in with the natural environment and you see that with every detail. We were only a family of four but 2 families could have stayed here with room to spare. The main living area is open air and we enjoyed cooking all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen . The pool area was perfect for relaxing and cooling off at the end of a busy day exploring. The seating area by the ocean was breathtaking and my favorite place to enjoy coffee in the morning. My favorite was the bedrooms. Imagine laying in bed in a tastefully decorated room and listening to the ocean waves only a few away. The mystifying sounds of the howler monkeys will wake you up in the morning and you will be delighted by the screeching of the Scarlett macaws in the background. It was the soundtrack of our visit I was worried about the bugs as my son attracts bugs everywhere. I don’t think we saw more than a few and nothing that bit. There was no issues at all with bugs. The caretaker was kind and helpful and we were able to get our laundry done while there. We came to the area to appreciate wildlife and staying at this property was more than we could imagined Don’t hesitate- it was the highest of our trip to Costa Rica . By"
