"Had an amazing two night stay here. The place is very clean, spacious, and Wendy is an incredibly kind host. We were even left a Bluetooth speaker and some books to use during our stay (they even extended an offer to keep a book if we were reading something we enjoyed). The area felt very safe, and super close to some beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Highland Manor. We were a group of early-40s professionals from the DC area and New River Gorge was our "friends trip" this year. It was awesome! Highland Manor is located very conveniently in Oak Hill, which is surprisingly walkable - we loved how close the grocery store was when we realized we'd forgotten to bring some spices for chili. There's a pleasant rails-to-trails walking/cycling path very nearby which was great to get a little bit of exercise while away...

"This house was so cute & nice! Beautiful & newly renovated! I will definitely be coming back with friends & family again in the future! A few minor things I will mention are the lights above the twin beds didn’t work. I noticed they were push button lights so I’m sure the batteries may have been dead. But I would suggest a small lamp on the nightstand. Also maybe some hooks in the bathroom for towels since we had multiple people staying while we were there. And maybe a handheld shower...

"We rented this property for a small reunion of friends because it was centrally located to our homes. The big bonus was how close it was to the amazing New River Gorge and some beautiful and fairly easy hiking trails. Clean, comfortable and close to many beautiful spots. "
