"The location gave me warm memories of my trips to northern Michigan as a teenager in the 80s Cozy upstairs room that cool off nicely with ceiling fans and central air. Kitchen has everything you need to make Family breakfasts and dinner for a large crowd The back porch was wonderful for making s’mores and telling stories around a fire pit. Best part of all was the five minute walk to Douglas Beach!"

"The house was great for our group of friends and family. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. We enjoyed the rooftop seating and fire pit in the backyard. The kitchen was very well stocked which made it easy to make large meals. We were able to walk to shops in downtown Douglas (including the Root Beer Barrel and Upscale Mercantile). Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at The Shop. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. We had a little trouble figuring out the thermostat and tv but everything else was lovely. Definitely would stay there again if we head back to the west side of Michigan. "
