Mixed feelings
Mr & Mrs Grasso were really nice but Mr Grasso did not respond to any emails until 2 days before we got there. He does not speak English but we could have sent a message in French. The pool was not heated but was not an issue but the pool does need a good clean especially round the steps. Internally the house was exceptionally well fitted with what looks like some particularly expensive items but was quirky, e.g. one bedroom door would not shut, toilet door would not fully open glass windows between master bedrooms meant a light on in one lit up the other. Overall I would recommend mostly because of the location, i.e. walking distance to beach and restaurants and splendid views and the privacy of the house. It should be noted that when approaching from the west of the lake the house is actually on a cul de sac and my sat nav tried to send us up a flight of steps.

Family holiday
Nice house close to lake with very good walking trails nearby. Covered area outside was ideal for dining and we had all our meals there. Good size heated pool. House was well equipped. However thin stud wall between 2 of the bedrooms allowed no privacy. Also upstairs bathroom bath squeezed Under pitched roof and not very usable. Bathroom with shower was downstairs. We also did not have Wi-Fi for first week as it was broken and owner did not know Wi-Fi password.

Great Location
The house is perfectly situated. It provides peace, privacy and attractive views of the lake and mountains, yet the cycle path, restaurants, beach and lake ferry are all within easy walking distance.

Perfect for us
An ideal property for our family of 6 (kids age 16-10). Lots of space and a great outside area Fantastic location to explore the Alps. Cycle path very close and easy to get to. You can walk to the lake which is great for water sports.

Not the same as advertise by photograph
Location brilliant but the property was unclean the grass was over grown and the pool was filthy and was not cleaned until day 2.5 of our stay which was unacceptable as the temperature was 35+ I feel the property did not reflect the photographs online, we have stayed with many homeandaway properties but this has been the dirtiest and most uncomfortable property we have stayed in very dissapointing .

Best Property at Lake Annecy
Nothing disappointed when we arrived; both property and grounds are very generously proportioned and the garden is surrounded by mature trees, ensuring privacy. It doesn't feel like a holiday home as it really is a stylish, personalised home. Spectacular views are framed through every window and the pool and pool house are a luxurious extra. We found it to be in a great location as Lake Annecy is a bustling place, but this property is elevated away from the main road, and at the other end from Annecy itself, so you can stay and have your own space, but you're not too far from shops and eateries. It was a really special holiday and we would love to return.

Great stay in lovely property with fantastic pool. Clean and well located to beach and lake. Stairs were a little tricky with toddler but otherwise was a great useable space for all our family and we all loved our stay here.

Beautiful Property in Lake Annecy
Lovely property with garden and pool in fabulous location by Lac Annecy. Mr Grasso was very welcoming. Great facilities outside with ping pong table, dining table for 8 and pool loungers. Wonderful views across the garden to mountains and lake.

Un voyage entaché par la saleté du logement et la malhonnêteté du propriétaire.
La maison est spacieuse, avec un beau jardin et un beau potentiel, est bien située, malheureusement notre voyage a été entâché par le manque d'entretien général, la saleté de la maison et en fin de séjour par la malhonnêteté de l'hôte: 1: Le ménage: nous avons récupéré la maison le samedi dans un état de saleté: poussière importante, ongles par terre, douche bouchée, robinetterie encrassée. Nous avons dû passé l'après-midi entière à nettoyer l'ensemble. 2: La piscine: la piscine était également à notre arrivée sale, d'une couleur verte avec beaucoup de dépôt au fond de la piscine. Nous avons aussi essayé de la nettoyer. Malheureusement au bout du 3ème jour l'eau est devenue trouble, nous ne pouvons plus l'utiliser. Le propriétaire a essayé un traitement chimique mais nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la piscine pendant les 3 derniers jours. 3: Le propriétaire: nous avons dû le contacter à plusieurs reprises; pour la piscine notamment. Déjà, il est venu plusieurs fois de manière impromptue ou bien à d'autres horaires que celles convenus. Concernant la piscine, celui-ci nous a affirmé qu'il contacterait Abritel pour demander une compensation pour la piscine. Or, le jour du départ, il nous a posé un lapin pour la remise des clefs, et a par la suite infirmer ses propos concernant l'indemnisation, faisant état d'une flagrante malhonnêteté. C'est la première fois que nous avons à laisser ce type d'avis. Au prix de la location nous estimons important de partager cette expérience.

Slechte ervaring
Huis was vervallen. Keukenkastjes en lades zaten los. Vaatwasser trok je zo onder het keukenblad vandaan. Badkamers zijn smal en niet hygiënisch. Over het algeheel was het zeker niet schoon. Eigenaar spreekt enkel Frans dus communicatie was niet te doen. Aan het eind werd er nog een fors bedrag ingehouden van de borg waarbij vermeld stond porseleinen lamp dat stuk zou zijn van 275,- terwijl er niks in dat verblijf staan wat die waarde hanteerd laat staan iets van porselein. Klacht ingediend bij vrbo maar totaal niks aan gedaan. Ik zou hier niet boeken gezien er geen research gedaan word over de eigenaar en daarnaast niks doet voor de klanten. Daarnaast stond de eigenaar regelmatig op de stoep. Dag van uitchecken stond hij een uur lang toe te kijken voor de uitcheck tijd

De très belles vacances dans une maison idéale située et agréable à vivre
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine et avons à nouveau cette année profité de la tranquillité du lieu, de la beauté de l’environnement et de la proximité des commerces et loisirs. Par contre, le portail électrique était cassé et il fallait le fermer avec une simple chaîne, ce qui n’est pas suffisant. Ceci dit, nous n’hésiterions pas à louer cette maison à l’avenir.

Maison de charme, inspirante, pour se retrouver et découvrir le lac d'Annecy et ses activités d'été
Maison de grand charme, construite avec beaucoup d'inspiration et permettant à la famille à la fois de se réunir (piscine, barbecue, salon ou grande terrasse couverte au rez) ou de s'isoler en petits groupes (parents, enfants, amis) dans les terrasses du toit, le vaste jardin et ses petits espaces aménagés. Bien située au calme, à deux pas du lac, quelques mètres de la piste cyclable qui longe tout le lac, et à 15 minutes de marche de la plage de Doussart (pédalo, paddle, bateaux). La région est magnifique. Le lac d'Annecy est très propre. Quelques bémols; salles-de bains nombreuses mais peu spacieuses, eau de piscine très propres mais le fond est mal nettoyé par le robot Zodiac et il a fallu 24h pour que la géothermie, qui n'était pas en marche à notre arrivée, la chauffe suffisamment. Nombreuses écoles de parapente à proximité. Un panne de courant inexplicable. Le propriétaire ne répond pas toujours très vite mais règle les problèmes. Globalement: à recommander! Bon point de chute pour découvrir la région. Le jardin est bien sécurisé pour les animaux.

Prachtige woning met heerlijk zwembad
Reserveren via VRBO ging prima. Communicatie met de eigenaar verliep moeizaam omdat hij alleen Frans en Italiaans spreekt en wij niet. We probeerden het mbv Google Translate, maar ook dat ging moeizaam omdat de eigenaar snel spreekt. Het keuken inventaris was heel vies. Afwasmachine en wasmachine maken beide niet goed schoon. Wij hebben met de hand afgewassen. Het huis, zwembad en het terras zijn prachtig. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen. Het poolhouse is, in vergelijking met de slaapkamers op de eerste etage, lekker koel. De foto’s op de site komen overeen met de werkelijkheid. Hier en daar moeten dingen wat worden opgeknapt en is een likje verf ook niet overbodig 😉

Tolles Objekt für den Aktivurlaub
Ein wunderschönes Objekt was leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Vor allem die Sauberkeit lies zu Wünschen übrig. Die Außenanlage war sehr schön. Der Vermieter spricht leider kein Englisch, nur französisch und italienisch. Die Lage des Ferienhaus war absolut perfekt für Aktivurlaub. Es waren nur 3 vollständige Badezimmer vorhandene und in einem Zimmer ein Waschbecken, eventuell wurde ein Badezimmer vom Vermieter aus reiner Privatnutzung abgeschlossen

Maison spacieuse - très bien située - très belle piscine
Maison très agréable, spacieuse très bien située au calme. Super piscine chauffée. Un seul petit point négatif, salles de bain peu spacieuses. Attention ce n'est pas forcément très clair dans l'annonce, les frais de ménage ne sont pas compris dans le prix payé au départ. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce lieu magnifique, vue sur le lac et entouré de montagnes.

Globalement tres satisfaisant
Ras sauf absence de notice d'utilisation de la maison:electricite,box certains appareils de cuisine etc.. mais au total pas de deception et conforme aux attentes. A noter que la notice sur Abritel est complete mais mal présentéee et amène des confusions.
