"Everything was fine except the mattress was not comfortable and the bill for valet parking was outrageous. I was not informed of the $65/night charge at the front desk when I checked in so I was astonished at checkout. I stay in hotels all over the world and country and have NEVER paid that much for a valet. And never will!"

"The Adophus may be my favorite hotel ever. This is an old-world-made-current, one of a kind, gem of place. Five stars through and nearly through. My only caveat is that the hotel spa is not particularly impressive; not up to the grand experience of the rest of the hotel. A stay at the Afolphus is very expensive and worth it. I can't imagine staying at any other place in Dallas. "

"Great stay, but valet was disappointing. They don't run, they walk, and socialize with guests as they stand waiting for over 2 hours for their cars. We called in at 10:15am with no answer and gave our ticket shortly afterward in person. We received the car at 12:22pm. While waiting, the valet clerk shuffled through tickets for each person who went to complain, and clearly did not put the tickets together in the same order.
