Single level villa set in a beautiful garden of 6,300 m2 with mature oak and olive trees, at walking distance (only 600 meters) from the perched medieval village of Flayosc with its many shops, restaurants and bars.
With 4 bedrooms; master bedroom with French windows leading to the terrace and en suite shower room with WC, second bedroom facing north and third bedroom facing west, a second shower room, 1 separate WC, spacious sitting room with fireplace, wooden beams and dining area, well-equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine..
Large covered terrace overlooking a flat lawn and pool area with a large private swimming pool (12m x 5.5m & between 3m & 1.5m deep). Double carport just next to the house.

The property is private - but far from being isolated.
An ideal setting for a family or a group of friends sharing their holiday.
There are plenty of nice walks near the property.


The Area: The area: Situated 0.5 km from the centre of Flayosc, 5 kilometres west of Draguignan, 1 hour from Nice Airport. Only 40 min away from the sandy beaches of the St. Tropez bay and the dramatic scenery of Gorges de Verdon. Perched medieval villages, olive mills, wine tasting and first class gourmet restaurants. There are 15 challenging golf courses within an hour's drive. There are plenty of nice countryside walks near the house.

Flayosc: Flayosc: The village Flayosc is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the coast. The village offers excellent shops for food, a weekly market, pharmacy, bank, several bars and restaurants, laundry/dry cleaner and wine cooperative. It also has a tourist office offering excellent information about the area.

Beautiful property surrounded by plenty of nature
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Trevor's beautiful house and even managed a dip into the pool which is big enough for a proper swim and offers a great view over the countryside. The kitchen is very well stocked and great for cooking if one does not want to eat out.

Tasteful and complete
The house is big enough for 4 adults and 2 children; each bed room with cooling equipment. The house is nicely decorated and completely equiped and has a very nice garden surrounding the house and the swimming pool, (the latter only heated by the sun). An electric vance protects against the wild pigs visiting sometimes the area at night. Kind assistance is available. The village is nearby, very nice and has good quality shops.

Summer vacation 2024 in Flayosc
We really enjoyed our 2 weeks summer holiday in Trevor's beautiful and quiet house. The house is aptly described with the pictures and description in the advert. The house is fully furnished and we wanted for nothing. The pool is large and spacious and was great fun. Only the mosaic tiles in the pool are often coming loose, which doesn't interfere with use but should be done in the future. Flayosc is within 15 minutes walking distance and there are two small supermarkets, cafes and bakeries for daily needs. Otherwise, the many beautiful old villages in the area are highly recommended for excursions. Aix en Provence, Cannes and Nice are also within easy reach by car or train. For questions about the property, Trevor was always promptly available via e-mail as well as the neighbour on site. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

Mooi gelegen (gedateerde) villa
Wij hebben hier een week verbleven. De villa is licht gedateerd, met name de keuken. Voor een groep koken is echt bijna onmogelijk. De stankoverlast van de sifon in één van de slaapkamers was behoorlijk vervelend. Het zwembad is royaal maar ook gedateerd wat zich laat zien aan de loslatende tegeltjes en scheurtjes hier en daar. Verder was het er prachtig en heb je veel privacy. Indien de eigenaar hier niets mee doet, wordt de prijs- kwaliteit verhouding twijfelachtig.

Altes Ferienhaus mit Charme
Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus gut gefallen. Es isst ein altes Haus mit viel Charme, aber entsprechend auch einigen Macken und Mängeln. Positiv: - altes großes Haus mit viel Charme - sehr großes und gepflegtes Grundstück - sehr großer und schöner Pool - Haus gut ausgestattet auch mit modernen Informationstechniken - Klimaanlage in 2 Zimmern - netter Empfangsservice, guter Kontakt per Whatsapp Negativ - Anfahrt zum Haus mit Sportwagen sehr schwierig, da unebener Feldweg; wir sind des Öfteren mit den Autos aufgesessen - Haus hat altersbedingt Mängel, z.B. Fenster und Türen schwergängig oder auch gar nicht zu öffnen - Elektrik mit zum Teil Macken; in einem Zimmer ging an einem Tag der Deckenventilator, am nächsten Tag wieder nicht - nur ein Kühlschrank bei 4 Zimmern - Klimaanlage nur in einem der Schlafzimmer - zum Teil nicht ganz sauberes Geschirr - der Pool müsste auch mal hinsichtlich der Mosaiken nachgearbeitet werden Insgesamt ein charmantes Haus in einer sehr idyllischen südfranzösischen Gegend, etwas schrullig und nicht perfekt, aber uns hat die Woche darin sehr gut gefallen.

Schönes Haus mit leichten Mängeln
Die Lage des Hauses, (etwas schwierig zu finden) das Grundstück, die Nachbarn alles ist prima. Leider bedarf die Küche einer Erneuerung. Das Haus selbst hat einen provencalischen Touch, was es sehr interessant macht. Nach der geplanten Erweiterung und Renovierung wird das Haus ein "Geheimtip" für einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub.

Superb!
We spent once again a most wonderful week in this superb, fully equipped villa, magnificent pool (at which we spent most of the week), chanting cicadas and perfect surroundings! As returning guests, the villa lived totally up to our sweet memories from 8 years ago. Country chic, peaceful, very friendly neighbour Francoise, Trevor himself, if needed, only an email or phonecall away....Les Sauterelles is a most beautiful rustic villa inside and out that is obviously loved and very well cared for, a villa to be loved indeed en to keep returning to!!

Maison agréable belle situation mais des détails à améliorer
Maison agréable avec piscine avec belle vue malheureusement la foudre en Juillet avait endommagé l'électricité de cette maison donc de nombreux désagrément avec le passage d'artisans tous les jours pas très discrets ; cuisine et vaisselle passable ; aménagement pour personne handicapés moyens manque de barres dans la salle de bain , sol glissant , système de mise à l'eau de la piscine impossible à mettre en marche ; contacts très aimables par mail avec le propriétaire et avec la voisine Françoise qui nous a aidé concernant les problèmes réguliers de coupures d'électricité ; en améliorant ces détails ce serait parfait .

very nice and quiet place
A very nice place with a beautiful view on the hill and a very large pool. House is spacious, with large bedrooms. Very close to the village wich is very convenient. The neighbour Françoise is an extremely nice person, always there to help in case of need. Trevor is also very responsive to the messages. All in all, a charming house.

Lovely place
We enjoyed our stay in Trevor’s villa. The house is very well situated in a private area, the garden is lovely with nice views on the hills. Flayosc is in a 10 minutes walk from the house and Draguinan with big supermarket in 12 minutes by car.The house is a bit old fashioned but with a fine ambiance, is well equipped and very spacious. Pool, next to the house and terrace are ajoy to use.  A very nice and quiet place to stay which we really enjoyed. Neighbour Francoise is very kind and helpful and so is Trevor on a distance by email. We recommend this house and it is surely a house to rent a second time.

Schönes Grundstück mit Pool und Olivenhain
Die Lage ist toll und das Haus charmant und alt, was aber kein Grund für den schlechten hygienischen Zustand sein sollte. Kopfkissen mit braunen Flecken und gelben Rändern, muffige Bettwäsche, überall alter Dreck in der Küche, eine stark verschmutzte Spülmaschine. Man sah, dass nur sehr oberflächlich, wenn überhaupt geputzt wurde. Ofen war defekt und konnte nicht benutzt werden. Sehr schade! Dafür gab es einen Weber-Grill. Der Besitzer ist nicht vor Ort und Madame F., die sich kümmern soll, ging einfach nicht ans Telefon, das ist wohl schon häufiger passiert, wenn man die FEWO-Bewertungen liest, beim Checkout erschien sie nicht, obwohl 500 Euro Kaution bezahlt wurden. Der Besitzer sollte mit dieser Dame mal ein ernstes Wort sprechen. Auf der Terrasse und im Pool haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der Garten war schön. Ohne die eklatanten hygienischen Mängel hätten wir unseren Urlaub richtig genießen können. Erwähnenswert sind noch die netten Nachbarn und Trevors hilfreiche Kommunikation via E-Mail.
