We had a wonderful stay at Honky Tonk Cabin! The kids (ages 6,7,8,9) absolutely loved the karaoke room and the bunk room, and the parents enjoyed the fact that they had their own spaces to play. The back deck was also nice, with an expansive view and wildlife every day. It was a bit warm for the hot tub but we did get in once and it was clean. Well-equipped kitchen, and filtered water on the fridge door was super helpful in filling camel backs. AC worked but was a bit uneven - downstairs living areas got frigid, downstairs bedroom less so (had its own window unit AC) and upstairs stayed pretty hot (but it was over 100 deg outside during our stay). My only real complaint is that the listing did not accurately describe the bedrooms. There is one private king bedroom downstairs off the living/kitchen. The other king (queen?) bedroom is upstairs in a room that is really a landing at the top of the stairway; it is not private. You walk through it to access the bunk room and the upstairs bedroom. This was a bit of a letdown for one of the adult couples in our group, but we made do. Overall, the location - smack dab in the middle bt Zion and Bryce - was the clincher for us and the home delivered.

Awesome amd fun!
The house is decorated in a real nice and fun way, lots to appreciate. The amzing thing to us, it was so clean! With all the decorations, it was spotless. The location was perfect between Zion and Bryce and it was always cooler at the house. We sat on the deck in the shade many nights and it was so comfortable. We had a couple of memorible nights in the Honky Tonk with karaoke. Lots of laughs! Im an avid golfer and enjoyed hitting a few balls to the flag in the backyard. We also saw a lot of deer each morning and night. The only hiccup was the internet. Very spotty at times. It would say connected but no interent. Overall, fantastic place to stay and would go again.

House was good
The house was great but the property management was not. The house was booked for 3 nights for 9 people and only 2 rolls (no extra) toilet paper was in the entire house. We had to buy our own. The grill was out of propane and we planned meals using the grill as it is listed as an amenity on the property. When I contacted the property management team I was told the grill is an amenity but the propane required to operate the grill was not. So whoever uses the grill-you're welcome for a full propane tank we left. The instructions on what to do with trash and used linens was not specific enough for the property. We didn't know where to take the garbage.

Better than the pictures
Absolutely perfect! The pictures had me not so sure on my decision after weeks of going back and forth between properties. My kids wanted a hot tub and some sort of game room, my husband wants cleanliness, I want something affordable, yet updated. It's hard to find a hot tub in Utah that also has a game room, and I'll admit, the one review of this place had me worried. But man, it was everything and more! We got in a lot later than we planned so it was basically shower off the flight and get into bed, so we didn't get a chance to explore the whole house. The beds were super comfortable. For the whole week we were there we noticed something new about the house with all the cute decorations. My 14-year-old son loved having a king-sized bed, my 16-year-old son loved having a loft like apartment to himself. The whole place was probably one of the cleanest VRBOs we've been to. We had no problem not wearing shoes in the house as we don't wear shoes in our own house. The hot tub was used daily, the ping pong table was used daily, we ate our meals and played cards in the karaoke room, we also "sang" quite a bit of karaoke. The kitchen was well stocked. There was even Tupperware to store cooked leftovers! That doesn't happen often. The washer and dryer were perfect. The a/c was perfect. I highly recommend this place and plan on recommending it to my cousin who wants to plan a trip to Utah soon!

We needed a relaxing family getaway to recharge our batteries and this property did exactly that for us:). There were activities within the cabin for all ages and the hot tub was just what I needed after riding in the CanAm all day:). We’ll definitely be adding this property to our list of favorites!!

Fun times
We really enjoyed our stay! Was nice and spacious. Did not get to enjoy outside much as there was a lot of snow but we had plenty to do! Would stay there again. Located nicely between Bryce and Zion. The one thing we have never had happen before is they list a grill in the amenities but they do not provide the gas. So we just purchased a small grill to use there.

NYE At The Honky Tonk
We had a great time over a long New Year's weekend. The house is very unique. The bar/karaoke area was great for hanging out and the kids loved singing on stage. We had a very snowy weekend, so plenty of sledding and hot tubbing in the back yard. Only one suggestion, this house needs a shovel or two easily accessible for guests. Couldn't find one anywhere. Quickly borrowed one from someone down the street so we could dig out!

Hiking Oasis
This was a great place to rest & refuel between long days hiking, as it is conveniently located between Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks. We liked the converted garage as it was a spacious place to get of the elements to remove hiking gear without tracking into the house. It was also a fun room to play in. We got some laughs doing karaoke and even relaxed some muscles in the hot tub. The kitchen was a huge asset and is one of the best stocked we've rented (& we've rented several homes in three different counties!) While we did have some heating and cooling issues, it was hardly a deal breaker. we would fully recommend renting this house & would do it again ourselves!

Awesome Place
We had a wonderful time at the Honky Tonk Cabin. First we had some issues getting in the garage door was being funny and the owner came right over and got it fixed for us. This proved to us that the owner himself was there to fix the problems right away. He even stayed and gave us a tour of the house. The cabin was very clean and had tons of room. We even had some wildlife visitors out back. We would love to come back again and bring the whole extended family. Beautiful place.

Could be nice but the Management company is poor
When we arrived at the location we were all happy with the look of the cabin and the amenities. The temperature outside was over 100 degrees everyday and when we walked in the cabin the inside air temp was 85 degrees. This cabin looks the part great honky tonk, nice bedrooms, but if you try and sleep in 80 plus degrees when the air doesn't work you won't sleep. We immediately contacted the management company. A technician showed up at 8:30 the first night unannounced, and said he he had fixed the air. What he actually did was set the system to heat only and the heat ran all night to compound the problem of it already being hot inside the cabin. We let the management company know the heat was running and they had me troubleshooting the system. That night nobody slept as the house kept getting hotter, on top of that we had mice scampering in the house and getting caught in traps. We woke up to a banging noise of two mice caught in sticky traps trying to get out. The next two nights had no relief the air never worked and the temp was over 80 degrees. The third night we were there they finally fixed the air, but only kind of the air ran all night freezing us in the house. The thermostat couldn't control the fan and it ran all night on full blast. The master bedroom is NOT air conditioned, only the kitchen upstairs and living room, so if it is hot out don't expect to be cool in your bedroom. We found trash from the last people in the cabin, that we picked up, dirty dishes, empty soda cans, dirty towels and linens. The management companies response was your lucky you even have air most places don't have it, and sometimes the cleaning company misses trash. I asked to contact the owner to let them know what was really going on at the site but they refused. I asked for a partial refund as nobody could sleep in the 80 plus degree house but they didn't accommodate these requests. There are NO grocery stores nearby so you should plan on bringing anything you need, only general stores with very limited supplies. I had my elderly father who was 85 at the cabin and he had to suffer through three nights with his asthma trying to sleep in 80 plus degrees. I suspect if the owners were aware of the total lack of care the management company has, they would not use them. This place could be nice, but garbage attracts pests and this cabin is not a place I would recommend for a family trip.

Such a fun place to stay!
This was absolutely one of my favorite places I have stayed. It was clean and very well kept. Lots of supplies, The bar and karaoke was amazing - the kids and adults loved it. The views from the back patio were absolutely beautiful. It felt secluded even though it wasn't too far off the highway. We went to both Bryce and Zion while staying there and the drive was easy and so pretty. We all agreed we would love to come back. Couldn't not recommend more!

Comfortable fun home
Beautiful peaceful setting with deer and wild turkey every morning and at dusk. Perfectly located between Zion, Escalante, and Bryce Canyon. Beds and bathrooms were super clean. The kitchen was well stocked but needed some wiping down before using... sink, wall by trash can, sticky window latch - small issues really. Owners were very responsive and internet issue was resolved within the hour. We look forward to staying here again.
