"11 out of 10! This cottage made our trip to Vancouver Island and greater Victoria! Was a perfect home to enjoy a slow start to the day over coffee and waterfront views … and excellent evenings resting inside and enjoying the hot tub and sunsets. All the little details you’d hope for in a VRBO rental and great, welcoming hosts in Danny and Tami who you knew would be there if you needed them, but gave plenty of space so you could feel as though the entire property was your own personal oasis....

"Second time visiting the property and it did not disappoint! The location is amazing and we were able to see whales and sea lions right from the deck! Perfect for a romantic getaway or solo vacay. The hot tub was so hot and perfect for a rainy soak. We'll be back"

"I loved the solitude of this property and the proximity to the beach. I would definately stay again for a shorter period. The lack of cell service and a strong internet connection was a problem for us. I appreciated the bbq, fire pit and comfort of the beds. I did really miss having a tub though. "Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"Nice orderly cabin amongst a tightly packed RV park. A two minute walk to swimming or canoeing in Beaver Lake as well as a wonderful trail surrounding. Check-In was made a bit difficult as we were given an outdated code for the entrance gate. It took over an hour for the host to respond and we were not given their phone number. Luckily, other tenants let us in; otherwise it would have been rather frustrating."

"I absolutely love this place. I'm from the island and did a little staycation, and I'm now forever renting from these wonderful people and staying in these cabins. A wonderful location right on the river and the coziest cabin with everything you need. The whole property is lovingly decorated with detail, and has a wonderful rustic vibe. The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful, and let us check in early. I will be staying here again and again! I only wish I could bring my pup as she would also...
