A special place to stay
We had a great week in this wonderful holiday cottage. We could easily have spent the whole week enjoying the view and surroundings but did venture out to see the rest of Donegal. Recommend this cottage tk anyone wanting peace and quiet surrounded by nature.

Relaxing stay in idyllic location.
The Sea House is a beautiful, cosy cottage situated between Dungloe and Maghery . The cottage is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme and is immaculately presented. The large picture window looks out to the sea, the islands, the mountains and outside the higher decking provides spectacular views of the area. The nearby beach at Maghery is a perfect strand for walks and there are longer walks around Maghery where you can take in the magnificent scenery . Dungloe is close for shopping and there is also a River Walk which provides an easy walk through a magical fairyland and along the river. After a day’s exploring, the Sea House is a perfect place to return to and watch the sun setting over Arranmore island .

The cottage is 100% as advertised. It is an old property completely redone with a design of retaining its vintage. The location is semi remote - nice privacy but easy access to town. A long term stay such as mine would be difficult for more than 3 or 4 people.

The Sea House is perfect
The 3 of us, plus our small dog had a brilliant time staying at this spotless, bright, cosy home. It had everything we needed plus a roaring peat fire which my hubby lit at night. The view from the large picture window in the kitchen is beautiful. The location is so peaceful and you can see the light and weather change before your eyes. We made breakfast each day before setting off on our trips and ate out in the evenings after exploring the beautiful beaches and surrounding towns. We were so lucky as it was cold, dry, bright and sunny during our stay. The wifi is very good. The decor just lovely and so homely. Dungloe is 5 mins drive away with plenty of local shops as well as Lidl, Aldi and Supervalu. We ate in the Bridge Inn and Mcaffertys and both were really good. I would highly recommend a stay at the Sea House to recharge your batteries.

Cozy retreat
We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is so cozy and inviting with a well equipped kitchen. Watching the seals each day just down the hill was a highlight! We were greeted when we arrived by Claire with tea, fresh scones and flowers. On this trip we stayed on a Georgian estate, and a castle but we felt the most comfortable and at home here.

Excellent 3 night stay in this beautifully and tastefully renovated cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing views and everything that you would need. It's more than a home from home. Very comfortable and our 14 and 11 year old and wee dog also loved it. We will hopefully be back again in the future. Thanks 😊

Sensational!
What a find this little gem is! From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a pot of tea and some scones, we were hooked. The views from the property are so much better in real life, than any photo could show. I often caught myself gazing out the enormous picture window at the ever changing tidal bay. The decor was really lovely too. (much better than we were expecting) Overall we couldn't have been happier with our choice Thank you

Little luxury gem
We absolutely adored our stay in Sea House. What a wonderful property: it's comfortable, cosy, very well-equipped and with unbeatable views out over the sea. Geraldine welcomed us to the house with fresh scones, tea and flowers...a genuinely lovely reception. This house surpasses all the photos and descriptions...the space is generous yet easy to heat (open fire was wonderful) and very pleasant to come back to after a day exploring the many glorious beaches in the area (recommend Dooey, Carrickfin and Mullaghduff..but just veer off the main road and who knows what you'll find). The bed is comfy, the shower is great, the kitchen is very well-equipped and the location is fantastic. Good food to be found in Dungloe (Bayview Tavern) and the Lobster Pot (Burtonport) and great Guinness at the local pub in Maghery. The house was spotlessly clean and easy to manage. Thanks to Geraldine and Sharon for ease of communication and the warm welcome. This house is highly recommended and we definitely hope to be back....a real home from home.

Take a Deep Breath in Idyllic Sea House
My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a week in this idyllic cottage on the bay. Natasha, Sharon, and Shauna were a delight from the booking process, to answering questions, through turning in the keys and saying, “good-bye.” The cottage felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. It is sparkling clean and well equipped, with great attention to detail. Flowers and scones were on the table when we arrived as well as some starter fridge items. We were warm and comfortable during a particularly chilly week, and having been in Ireland over a dozen times, we know from experience that this is not always the case. The view is magnificent! It was hard to leave to even tour around. The sunrises, sunsets, seals on the rocks, oyster fisherman coming and going from work, all played out in front of us from the expansive window. Friends from Ramelton came for lunch and we couldn’t even get them into the living room where we had a lovely turf fire going — all they wanted to do was take in the view. Would highly recommend Sea House and look forward to returning.

We arrived late in the evening to be greeted with homemade scones, butter and jam. Our dog was in heaven with the lovely space for him to play in. It was a bonus having great WiFi as well as a washing machine and drier.Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful cottage. We hope to return some day.

the perfect respite during a busy trip
We spent 3 nights here in early May. We were mid-way through a fast-paced self guided tour of Ireland, and were ready for a bit of a break. This beautiful setting and comfortable home provided everything we were looking for and needed. The house is charmingly decorated and just a delight both inside and out. We only wish the weather had been a bit warmer so we could enjoy the deck and view the gorgeous sunsets from outside rather than inside. We were so pleased with the tea, coffee, milk and scones provided. We cooked in two nights and had most of the utensils needed. Would suggest providing salt and pepper, but we made do without. Our host Natasha was so accommodating to us when we forgot to have the cleaning fee on hand in cash when we checked out. We highly recommend this property.
