Host contact did not care, did not respond to our messages that night or the next morning about it. I also did not realize that we were never sent the door code to get in....

"We immediately felt right at home in our cozy cabin. The apartment had everything we needed plus a lovely porch for enjoying that morning coffee. She put out a magazine article on the Meadowcroft Rock Shelter because she knew we were interested in it. It was fun to find school buses converted to ice cream trucks in the driveway and ice cream sandwiches as welcome gifts in the freezer. "We had a wonderful time while in the Hopwood area. House was used as our base for trips to Ohiopyle for hiking as well as biking the GAP trail. Also, a couple trips into Morgantown to see one of our daughters. The house was perfect for our needs. Just my husband and myself, so no need for lots of space. "We enjoyed a quiet weekend stay. The house has many charming qualities and at the foot of the road is a deli/bakery with delicious offerings. Make sure to plug the address in your GPS. I just clicked on the "how to get there" directions and it took me 15 minutes past the house. There were some cleaning issues that the owner was truly surprised to hear about so I expect that is not a common experience for guests. All in all it was a pleasant weekend in the rolling hills of southwest Pennsylvania."

"This was perfect for our short stay. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. We did think the yard was a little bigger from the pictures on VRBO, but it worked out for our doggos. Only complaint and it’s only specific to me, the air freshener was very strong. Will recommend to others! Nice quiet neighborhood. "

A Good Place for Overnight Rest from Traveling

"Our stay was very good. Downfalls were we could of used extra pillows and blankets. Being there in fall, the heat would not heat up the room so we were really cold during the day and night. Room could of used some rugs to stand/walk on because the floor was cold too. Didn't have TV service the first night. For price and a place to lay your head at night, it was a respectible place to stay. They had a free morning breakfast setup that was very nice."
