First I want to say how much we were looking for this trip with being locked up with the Covid and all that. So when we saw this property being so close to casino and what had to offer, that was a winner. We had a choice to stay at the Choctaw hotel or be in the nature, cook out and spent time outdoors. We chose this property that per the listing offered catch and release pound, petting donkeys, pool, and gazebo with the grill. Sounds awesome, ah? In a summary, this is not exactly we got for the price. VRBO had a wrong address, so ended up in the middle of the road with the navigation telling us that we have arrived at our destination. So had to contact the owner. No apology just oh, I will tell them again to update the listing. When we got to the house, inside was nice but outside not too clean. Wasps, spiders, not very comfy furniture outside. Even-thought, we have asked if any suggestion what we need to bring extra to be prepared, nothing was suggested. So Bring wasp spray for sure. Grill was very dirty and no grill utensils. So bring your own. House was clean. For 6 people the price is good but not worth it for just two. They charge on the top of the listed rent price for cleaning, insurance and other fees. And did I mentioned , no petting donkeys and you can not get to the pond either. A bit disappointed for the price that we had to pay for less than two days but give it a chance if more people will join to split the cost.
The owner is very short and dry in the responses. And even thought we paid for the cleaning fees, you will be asked to gather all the towels and take the trash. It would help if the listing will have more disclosures and suggestions on what you might need so you can make more informative decision about what to bring or if this is the place that you want to stay at.
