Glass by the front door is cracked and damaged with the double glazing leaking. Skirting boards dirty and mouldy. Grout in bathrooms mouldy - have they been cleaned properly? Stains on carpets. "We had a lovely few days at the cottage. Super views of the harbour, while preparing food in the kitchen, good access to shops and restaurants, dog walks on the doorstep. The house was very clean, the goodies left for us were welcome. We didn’t need to contact the owner as everything went very well."

"We stay here often to visit my wife's mother in Westbourne. Every one is very friendly. The bar is very reasonably priced. Beds comfy and their prices are very reasonable. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."

Great hotel, just a few issues

"Good hotel, room was nicely presented and clean. Pressure from the shower wasn’t great and floor was very slippy when getting out. The fan on the wall randomly started making a loud noise at 7.30am which woke us up! Very squeaky floorboards so can hear every movement from room above. Overall thou we had a pleasant stay and breakfast was good value. "
