"Great little cosy cottage in a good location. Real log fire in lounge but also has central heating. Stairs are bit on the steep side but then you get that in cottages of this age . Walks just outside your door ( as well last chickens!) Everything you need for a nice stay . Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay. "

"We stayed for a week during the Literary Festival. The flat is on the first floor and has an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner plus a bedroom and a separate bathroom. It is a reasonable size for two people and well equipped. There was one small error in the VRBO listing which shows a tumble dryer picture whereas the flat offers a clothes stand dryer instead. Not a big issue but one to bear in mind. Otherwise we had a great time. The flat is convenient for the High Street end of the town and...

"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

"This is the third Christmas my brother and I have stayed at the Leonardo and it just gets better and better. The staff are all outstanding, nothing it too much trouble and they are all cheerful and helpful. My brother loves to swim and I love all the places I can hide away to read. "Stayed for one night as our son was attending a swimming clinic at GL1 in Gloucester. Great to be able to check in at 2pm rather than the usual 3-4pm. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Would definitely stay again."

"Character hotel bordering miles of countryside. Comfortable large bed on top floor, with good breakfast. had already eaten on arrival so cannot comment on evening meal. Top floor room did have sloping ceiling, but no issue. Plenty of free parking and lovely quiet setting."
