"Our stay at the cottage was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. It is a pastoral paradise nestled in the Irish countryside. The cottage is a comfortable well appointed barn conversion that offers authenticity with all of the comforts of home - complete with a homemade apple tart waiting upon arrival. "As a large family with siblings travelling in from around the world to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, we spent weeks trying to find a venue that would be suitable for a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 18. This venue was absolutely perfect for a weekend gathering of all ages . Maretta was so helpful in helping us coordinate a jumping castle, catering, a birthday cake. We loved the short walk down to the food and pubs in Clarecastle and everything about the house was magical. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for a large group. "Lift broke down several times. Tv did not work despite management trying it fix it. Food was shocking so much my partner got violently ill. Despite checking in with credit card we were required to pay for each item. When leaving staff brought luggage coatkeys left in room and taxi back to pick up. Disaster rm 238"
