"I had mixed up the dates and was prepared to pay for a new room. But the staff, Maria and her colleague, sorted everything out, made a lot of phone calls so i did not need to pay for new rooms. Offered me coffe as I waited, gived me a room before they even got confirmation from hotels.com that it was okey to switch. Upgraded the room with balcony, water etc just to be nice. "I was staying here during 3 weeks with my father who is 81 y.o. We came to Israel for my father's green card interview. This location was very convenient for us: not far from Medical Exam Facility and around 10 minutes driving from U.S. Embassy. Hotel has good disability access and breakfast as a great option. Staff is professional and ready to help at any time. I can recommend this hotel for long stay."

"In Saint George's Cathedral Pilgrim Guest House, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to offer assistance. "The breakfast buffet gave us a good start to our days touring and the bar was good for a wind down beverage in the evenings. The hotel is walking distance from a few restaurants and is close to the Damascus Gate. The location was a convenient start to our daily touring. It could use a little updating. "Our stay at Saladin Boutique was excellent. This is the closest I have stayed to Masjid up Aqsa in my four times visiting, and out of the different hotels, This was the most accommodating as well as clean. The staff were amazingly helpful and when a staff member changed, the new one already knew our needs and requests. "The hotel is in the Arab quarter of Jerusalem, which means that shops and restaurants are open on Fridays and Saturdays. The reception staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. "I liked that the location is 5 min walk to the Western Wall. The breakfast was really great and the staff was nice and helpful. The Shabbat dinner was very special (but that is extra - not included in price). The only thing I didn’t like was that the central air conditioning made it very cold for me and there was no solution for it other than extra blankets and pillows. Also there is no laundry which can be a problem for a longer stay. Otherwise everything was great."

"I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. The location is excellent next to Garden Tomb and easily walkable to Damascus Gate. Helpful owner. Breakfast included. Recommended and would stay again. "
