"Good sized bedrooms w/ good mattresses, 5 minute walk to ferry; row of restaurants 3 blocks away but kitchen trash can was full, floors were dirty. No curtain on best room facing main street, bathroom smells,closets and shelves are mostly full, kitchen has no stove or hot plate."

"This is an imaginatively restored church with all kinds of artistic detail throughout. It is also very comfortable inside with a nice space outside for relaxing if the weather is good. It also has one of the best equipped kitchens we have seen in a vacation rental. Engaging owners as well. All in all, a very worthy place to stay."

"We are a family of 5 and we found this place a bit small. It is also located on a main busy street. Great if you plan on just sleeping there. No dishtowels left for us, two rolls of TP for a 5 days stay (more provide d on request) and not enough garbage bags We've been staying at this type of place (4 total) and some hosts just know how to provide the items to make your stay easier. "The building seemed a bit run down on first impression. It was also somewhat difficult to find as the address was number 30 but the house had different numbers at the front. However once we figured it out, the parking was great and the apartment was very nice. We found several places to eat within an easy walk. The host was very responsive. Our only suggestion is the couch in the living room is not very comfortable and sags when you sit down. "

"The home was clean and well maintained. There are great views of the northwest arm and entrance to Halifax harbor from most of the rooms, including pool and hot tub. The interior decorating is cool including many wood features. Dan the property manager was responsive and provided good instructions on using the smart home features. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Halifax and this property."

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."
