Scale the heights of a climbing wall, take a swing in batting cages and practice your golf at the driving range when you visit East Park. The large park on the banks of the River Thames features an array of indoor and outdoor activities for people of all ages.
Visit the waterpark, one of the venue’s most popular attractions. There are seven waterslides including the 55-feet (17-meter) high Bullet Slide. Cool down by playing on the splash pads and by standing under the tipping buckets.
Venture indoors and challenge yourself on the 40-feet (13-meter) rock climbing wall. The structure is suitable for all levels of climbing ability, and instructors are on hand for lessons and guided climbs. Other indoor activities include bumper cars and a jungle gym soft-play toy where younger children can climb and slide.
Be sure not to miss the go karting where you can race your friends over 1,800 feet (549 meters) of track.
Novice and experienced golfers have a lot to look forward to with a visit to East Park. Enjoy some family fun on the mini golf course and practice your swing on the driving range. Then play a few rounds on the 18-hole golf course. Improve your game by signing up for some golf lessons. Those who prefer baseball can pitch and swing in the batting cages.
When you want a break from your activities, stop for refreshments at the Tiki Bar in front of the water park. Other food vendors can be found around the park. There is also a designated area for barbecues and numerous picnic spots.
East Park is open all year round and admission is free. The prices and opening times of some of the attractions vary from season to season, so visit the park’s website before your visit for the most accurate information. Savings can be made with weekend and season passes.
East Park is less than 4.7 miles (7.6 kilometers) from downtown London and parking is free in the spacious car park.
