"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"

"This property is not 'posh' but it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group gathering. There is masses of space for cooking, eating and socialising and sitting outdoors. The setting of the cottage is second to none - surrounded by the fabulous New Forest and the giant redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. There are lots of walking and cycling trails immediately accessible from the property. We took our youngsters out on a dusk walk on the first night we arrived and they saw deer,...

"We had a family weekend in the New Forest. This was a lovely property with a gorgeous outdoor space in a fab location. The hosta were incredibly helpful and we're very communicative. "Loved the family room as it has separate bedrooms rather than all squashed into one space. The restaurant served excellent evening food and the breakfast was continually topped up. The kids room was far too young for our 8 year old but excellent for younger children and loved the milk and cookie bedtime treat voucher! Being able to swim as a family was a huge highlight and my daughter is desperate to return! Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Overall we had an excellent stay, fantastic location centra to outlet, dock yards, restaurants, Spinnaker tower and the ferry to IOW. On the first night we when we got to the room we noticed some dry paint shavings that had fallen from the ceiling to the floor, staff were happy to love us to another room and apologised. Wayne in particular was extremely helpful and friendly as were the other front of house and manager. Car parking was in gunwharf quays. For breakfast you’re allowed to take away food in brown bags or while paper boxes which was helpful. The rooms are standard with a clean kettle and bed but we loved our stay. Would recommend. "
