"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"The views were incredible, the trout ponds were fascinating, we took a fishing lesson on our first day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cafe is super convenient and all the staff were friendly and approachable! Our only hang up was that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable and the accommodation wasn't kitted out very well for cooking dinner so we ate out and got a couple of easy ready meals instead (pans were very small and there were no cutting knives to prep meals with) - otherwise, 5*!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fabulous room. Lovely hotel inside (could use a bit of TLC on outside, but I'm sure the group will sort this). We didn't have lunch/dinner, but enjoyed a lovely meal at a private function and very much enjoyed our breakfasts over two days. The staff were very helpful whenever we asked for anything. My wife remarked on how clean the place was (dust free was the term she used). Lovely grounds and far enough away from busy road to be quiet. All in all, very enjoyable stay and would stay there again when I'm in the area."

"A spontaneous stop over due to traveling a long journey up to Oban. Hotel is very basic but clean, and excellent value for money. Check in was easy and staff were lovely. Only downsides were that the doors slam shut and quite a lot of them are squeaky and creeky (WD40 can easily sort that out). As a light sleeper my slumber was disturbed a fair bit throughout the night. So not a great night sleep for me. Also had to pay £5 for parking (description states free onsite parking) but is still worth a fiver."
