We absolutely loved our stay at the Blackfriars Lofts! The loft was lovely and perfect for my husband and I. Getting in and out of the loft building was smooth and easy. We will be back!

This property exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect size and had every amenity that you could ever need! A full kitchen equipped with a stovetop, dishwasher, microwave/oven, and best of all, a washer/dryer. The bathroom was beautiful. The security/enter/exit system was great. As we had come from Canada, we did not have a phone to call but could email. Emsils wete returned promptly. We asked last minute for a late checkout and they were kind enough to let us stay an extra hour fir a minimsl fee. As far as the location goes, it is about halfway up the Royal mile, just 20 steps down a side street. Shops, restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores, are just a short walking distance away. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Old Town Edinburgh. It was magical. If I was to return to Scotland, I would book this property again, no hesitation.

First impressions are key and ours was terrible. We walked in the lobby area to find bags of dirty laundry and boxes of produce in the way. We could not even get by with our luggage. This area became more congested with more dirty laundry each day it was disgusting. It is unfortunate as the apartment was quite nice and clean.

Really lovely space & location. Even though the festival was in mid flow, the road is relatively quiet and we were not disturbed. No microwave & mezzanine bed a little warm in summer, but otherwise perfect!

Awesome location. Close to dozens of good restaurants and bars. Enjoyed the size of the room because everyone had their own space to relax and unwind. The area felt very secure and easy walking distance from most inner city attractions. I will use Linton again on our next Edinburgh vacation

Wonderful location! Beautiful, clean and relaxing!
We selected this place because it looked different/interesting compared to trying to get "just another hotel". It was more like a rented apartment, with all of those amenities (washer/dryer, kitchenette, etc), which was amazing! I don't think the unit we got was what was in the photos, but it makes sense as it's a building of ~10 units that you are assigned from. Getting into the unit couldn't have been easier - it was secure but completely self-serve. It was also amazing that there is secure storage for luggage if you arrive or stay later than check in/out times.

Convenient location for trains, sight seeing and shopping. Beautiful and clean. Everything we needed was there. Great restaurants very convenient with excellent food. I don’t recommend sleeping on the sofa bed.
