"The apartment was relatively clean and tidy. We did not get our breakfast package we pre ordered, after a couple emails and phone calls, determined was an oversite, a bit disappointed. But we were reimbursed our money. So thanks for that. The clothes washer did not have clear instructions on how to operate, we had to research and google, still not clear. "This is a wonderful location right below the castle. Every morning we woke up to a gorgeous view! Peaceful street, one block from all of the Grassmarket shops and restaurants, and it was so easy to walk everywhere in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would definitely stay there again!"

"The hotel is perfectly located for exploring old town Edinburgh. The staff is friendly and every interaction we had was excellent and helpful. The concierge made 3 dinner reservations for us which were all great. The decor is hip and elegant. "

"By far the best area to stay in as it’s close to everything and the facility is amazing on top! As you stand at the front door you have the most up close & amazing view of Edinburgh Castle (which is fully lit up at night). Directly across the street are the most amazing restaurants that truly you don’t need to eat anywhere else. If weather is not the best- U we is quick and reasonable. Facility pool/sauna is a nice add on when doing a lot of walking about and the breakfast add on is big and delicious (you can adjust it depending on your tastes but we did the full breakfast with it all in and it was amazing, including the haggis. You MUST let your tastebuds do the talking in haggis and NOT your mind. It is fabulous!). Staff very courteous and they do provide online options and bag storage. Overall- great spot & great value for the money! "
