It's located on the Royal Mile so you are surrounded by all sorts of shops, restaurants, etc. I felt very safe in this area. So many things to see -- very historic. "

There are a plethora of dining options nearby. Our favorite was Yum Yum across the street for Mediterranean food. The apartment itself is comfortable and stylishly decorated.
